We paid for siding and garage materials in good faith and have repeatedly asked for receipts, proof of purchase, or delivery of the products. To date, we still do not have the materials we paid for. If the work was truly nearing completion, there should be no issue showing: Material invoices Delivery receipts Where the siding and garage materials are located A door installed crooked is not something homeowners expect to be intentionally done 'temporarily' and corrected later. Quality workmanship should be evident throughout the process. At this point, we are simply requesting what we paid for: Delivery of the materials purchased with our funds, or Immediate reimbursement for materials not provided. We paid Chris $9,112.89 for materials on September 29, 2025 for a siding job and to add an 8ft…read moreextension to the garage. The job was supposed to be completed before winter. It is now June 1st and the job has not been completed. He has given us every excuse. The interesting part is that he refused to provide receipts or proof that the materials exist. We called Menards and they said that the have no record of Chris placing an order for the siding. We recently provided Chris with an agreement stating that he would work every day until the job is complete and provide pictures showing what was accomplished everyday. Chris refused to sign the agreement. We also question his workmanship. Please see the photos below. The address of this property is 5852 Vera Lane and is visible from US23 as you pass Whitestone. Many of you probably drive by daily. I hope this situation doesn't happen to anyone else in our community. Chris, please attach pictures and receipts. We have been asking about these for months.
