I am happy to recommend Touchstone lofts who have just finished our loft conversion in Twickenham…read more Being a property surveyor I was particularly concerned about the finer details of the build and so we chose Touchstone after meeting with some six loft conversion companies. From the very outset we were impressed with the knowledge and professional conduct of the initial person who visited. He listened and he knew everything about loft conversions and answered all our questions in detail, with pictures where necessary. A structural engineer came next and he assured us he would deal with a problem we had as we had some cracks in our rear section of the rear wall. The plumbing team removed the tanks in our loft and fitted a new boiler before the loft conversion began, this all went very smoothly and the team were very efficient. The whole process was well conducted and amazing whirlwind which began with the plans and 3d visuals, then the loft team arrived who built the loft in four weeks. The loft team, Chris and Matt were so polite, courteous, accommodating and got over any issues without any sharp intakes of breath. The plasterers were also very good and all the different trades knew each other very well which made us feel more relaxed as the whole company seemed well connected. Overall we are delighted with the loft, it is very well designed and there were lots of added improvements along the way.
