Wonderful food great customer service and the chicken wings are the best!! fresh food always love coming here

One of the highlights of my trip recently was getting to enjoy the hot fresh food from RedRed Kitchen. Order was placed on DoorDash and it was ready for delivery extremely quickly. Food was well packaged and order was accurate. HOT AND TASTY too. The most important part. I enjoyed every bits and bite of the food I ordered from them. I wish I had gotten two of each of EVERYTHING. I loved every bite of jollof rice and grilled chicken accompanied with the fried plantain. The fried plantain was cooked just right. Although it is supposed to be a deep fried item, it wasn't greasy or under/overseasoned. In fact, every items in the order was seasoned perfectly -- nothing too greasy, too salty, or too sweet. Puff puff was also fresh, light, and tasty. Too bad they don't have an outpost here in LA / OC because I would go there just about every single day. If you are fortunate to be in their delivery / pickup radius, I highly recommend ordering from them. I promise you won't regret it. read more

I got the kontomire/egusi with fufu and a side of kelewele. First off the stew was amazing!! It had so much flavor, greens have a super soft texture, and my favorite part was the fish. It was cooked crisp on the outside but when I bit into it, it was so juicy inside. I have no idea how they cooked the fish crunchy and crispy but so moist inside!! Goat meat was also pretty soft but not as soft as the fish. The kelewele is really sweet and spicy. Good amount of seasoning and also fried well. read more

I drove an hour to Boston to get this food. My first visit the owner/manager was there and I got the regular sized go plate that I would get anywhere. Today I ordered the Jollof with chicken. The container was half the size of a regular to go box. I spent 20 dollars for chicken and I got 1 chicken leg and little jollof. I had to ask for more jollof and asked them to give me more chicken in which they gave me another chicken leg. I felt like a beggar but paid for the food. I won't be back. I will drive to Worcester the same hour drive next time and see if I get more for the same money. read more

When they first opened, I ate here about every week and then I moved so they didn't deliver to me anymore. I was in the area and decided to order a pick up and I wholeheartedly regret my decision. PORTION: The portion size has incredible reduced. I got 5 bofrot for $4.50 and the size was half of what it used to be. Almost every African restaurant sells bofrot for 2 for 1 and it's the regular size so how can I pay $1 for a mini size. The chofee was my biggest regret. I paid $8.50 for 6 of the smallest chofee I've ever seen. I will attach a before and after of the chofee from when they first started and now. I added the chofee to the jollof to heat it up together, but it came in a separate plate because I ordered a full portion and this is what I got. Yes those tiny things on the jollof is the chofee. TASTE: tasteless and burnt. I'm so disappointed. Even the shito doesn't taste as good and they were the best. The plantain was chunky and undone. They reduced the plate size for the waakye, but they increased the price. Ambiance: upon picking up, I realized this was a ghost kitchen which made a whole lot of sense. Safely I ordered $50 plus dollar worth of food and it all went in the trash. The food was staled and tasted as if it previously cooked the day before and warmed up in a microwave. The meet was so hard I couldn't get my fork in it. I ordered here before and it was good. Not sure what happen this time. Now I'm fighting with Uber eats to get a refund. I ordered the egusi with with rice, it was okay but very salty. I think it might have been salty because of the combination of fish, chicken and beef. It would be best to separate the 3 different meats instead of combining them all together. The egusi was also pricey for no reason. I could have gotten this for half of the price. read more

It's unfortunate I have to write a bad review on this restaurant but as a Ghanaian who was very excited about the opening of a Ghanaian restaurant here in Boston, I'm disappointed. I ordered a bunch of things and I'm saddened to say I'm disappointed, very very disappointed. Let's continue! Ghanaian food should be flavorful, tasty, and inviting but every single meal I got was tasteless and a slap in the face one by one. Let's start with the appetizers. The wagashi was extremely dry and tasteless. I'm certain they are a couple of days old-tragic. Typically chofi (turkey) is a fatty meat but what I received not only broke the fatty-ometer scale, but it was way too soft. Let's get into the beans. I got my white rice ready to eat with the beans. Something told me to try the beans by itself first. Ya'll!!!!!!!!! I was upset by the lack of seasoning and flavor. The only positive aspect of the food is that the presentation is nice-THAT'S IT! NOWWWWW, the banku. WHERE IS MY BANKU! In which America do we sell banku separate from the okro soup/stew????? The okro soup is not bad but by the looks of it, I would not buy it if it was presented to me. The meat in it looks like they are trying to save money. $14 for that! Food is overpriced for its tasteless nature. At this point I'm truly embarrassed to be a Ghanaian. Hope this restaurant takes all I've said into consideration and makes drastic improvement EXPEDITIOUSLY!
