There are plenty of sumptuous choices available but I recommend you order the Original Dirty Burger; 2 luscious, thick beef patties, smothered in cheese and topped with the most incredible bbq pulled-pork ever! I substituted the skinny fries for chunky sweet potato fries, and washed it all down with a very generously-sized Cherry Coke Float. It was all brilliant. The whole time I was eating my burger, from the first bite, through to until I wiped the grease from my fingers, I had a big smile on my face. I am owed over £300 and have attempted conciliation with both Mudcrab and it's previous parent company Toucan leisure limited. Both companies have ignored mine the government's repeated attempts to resolve this issue peacefully and I am not the only one, some of my old colleague have also not been payed their wage on time or at all. When I went to the owner Richard in person to discuss this issue he told me it wasn't his problem but it is, he is legally obligated to pay me and isn't and I won't let him get away with not doing it. So when you eat at Mudcrab and you experience the excellent service of the wait staff there keep in mind that they are probably not being paid!!!

Firstly the lady who took my order did not write it down correctly - I asked for a pizza with a bbq base (I don't eat tomato) and it came with a tomato base. We used to order from them very frequently probably twice a month if not more and I always ordered a pizza with bbq base. When I called up to explain that it was wrong I was told that she had forgotten to write bbq base on my order. I was told to leave it and they would replace my order. From that I understood it that they were replacing the whole order (2x pizzas, a garlic bread and chips). 40 minutes later the delivery driver arrived with a replacement pizza. By this point the rest of the order was cold. I called up and required about this and was told that they were only replacing the pizza. I asked to speak to the manager and he was very rude to me and told me that that was all they were replacing and I should "just deal with it". I explained that I was not happy with this solution and asked if I could have my money back instead as it was over one hour since I originally ordered and we had still not eaten our food. I was told that I could not have my money back and the manager continued to be rude and spoke to me as if I was dirt. My fiancé, obviously disgusted at the way I was being spoken to, asked to speak to him and upon speaking to him the manager said it was not his problem. My fiancé then said that we would go to the shop ourselves to take the pizzas back and get our money back. The manager then hung up. Upon entering the shop we put the pizzas on the counter and asked to speak to the manager for our money back. He banged his hand down on the counter with the money all crumbled and swore at us. I explained that his menu states customer satisfaction or money back and he told us that he wasn't interested and that he did not need our custom. We then said we would not return again and he swore at us again. I have never been so disgusted and spoken to in such a disgraceful manner. I cannot believe that the company that we have given so much money to over the past year have such lack of devotion to their regular customers. We will never go back and I will no longer recommend them to anyone. Absolute vile customer service.

Firstly there are never any baskets in the racks on entering the shop from the car park area. So it is necessary to go searching for baskets in front of the till. Secondly, if you go into the shop outside the busy hours and need to go to the kiosk to check out do not expect either a pleasant or friendly welcome. A grunt and a point to which till is working is the best you're likely to receive. Very poor customer service tbh. Will shop elsewhere whenever possible in future.

Almost loaded up with more camping gear but refrained as there was a camping shop with a sale on down the road. Anyway, saw the 'Multibuy - 2 for £5' offer on the BBQs and thought 'get in', until I got to the till with my fiver and was charged £5.50. I said I was sure the offer was 2 for £5 but the till lady said 'no, it's 2 for £5.50' and as I didn't have any extra cash I had to pay by card, and then after I'd walked out I got really peeved about that extra 50p and way I'd been dismissed so I went back in and after I'd showed the lady the sign I got my 50p back, hooray! Yes, I am that pedantic and scroogey.
