5 Stars for a couple or reasons. The 1st being the Gas is the best gas you can buy on Sand Mountain. They offer 100% pure Gas and it is great! I always get fantastic gas mileage when I fill my tank. The 2nd reason is the Gas is very cheap! Cheaper than any other places around. That in my book is worth stopping here. The sore itself is that of your typical locally owned gas station. They do sell some hardware, and they have a restaurant inside the store, that sell the best Slaw Dogs in the state of Alabama! They prices on food is a little on the expensive side, but I don't care, because the gas is so good! One thing I do really like is that they sell cold Jones Soda, in a ton of flavors. This is awesome and I pick up a Green Apple Jones Soda and a Slaw Dog every time I am in town. The Owners are super sweet and the staff is always friendly and have a smile on their face. All in all, stop and support local business like this one, and fill that tank with the best gas anywhere in the area. read more

Great short order grill with a lunch buffet. Great people. I moved up here a few years ago. They closed for a couple weeks back last year due to Covid, and I almost starved. Best gasoline prices on Sand Mountain. I love these folk. read more

Not a four-star dining experience, but four stars because they meet my expectations every time. There is a deli inside this store. It is open late, has a wide variety on the menu, and everything is cooked to order. If you're in a hurry, you may be disappointed, but I've never been disappointed here yet. Some things cook faster than others. Not every time, but usually the cook is good enough at what she's doing that all of our food is served at the same time. A couple times, we received our food one person at a time. The place is a typical country greasy spoon restaurant, which I kind of love. They're open late. The employees are sweet women. read more

Pam's Deli, inside Reed's Grocery, is a hidden gem! The best cheeseburger around! I'd easily compare it to Pikeville Store or Shorty's in Hollywood...just a little better. We always do takeout and our order is correct every time. The customer service is great, too! Give it a try. read more
