I went here on a Saturday night with one of my good friends, and the place was completely packed. Luckily we had ordered a table beforehand. I had read the menu online beforehand and saw that it was an Australian restaurant and that they had crocodile and kangaroo on the menu, which i had never seen before. So i was very intrigued by the place. When I finally got to the place, I ended up sticking with a safe choice and getting their Gold mine steak which was 200 gr. of an Australian Black Angus sirloin flap steak. My friend and I decided to also skip on getting any starters and ordered one of every side to share. Their sides have very fancy names, but to name them more simply, we got sweet potato fries, regular fries, Asian greens and a tomato & mozzarella salad. We also both tried a cocktail called snowy mountains, which I forget exactly what had in it, but it was sweet and super tasty. This place blew me away, and was way better than i expected. If you're looking for a great steak and tasty sides & cocktails, try this place. I will definitely be back. I'm still very intrigued by the crocodile & kangaroo, so i'll have to try that next time.

Delicious food, drinks, and wonderful service to sum it all up. We just finished having dinner here for my brother's birthday. Although I mentioned it in the comments on the reservation nothing was acknowledged when we were there. However everything else was great. I got the one night is sydney cocktail which was fantastic. We then both ordered the pumpkin soup, a beef carpaccio, a burger, and a wagyu steak with lobster. Food came out to be very great for dessert we got the death by chocolate and the first one on the menu (I forgot the name). Definitely plan to be back! read more

Excellent food and great service! It was interesting finding an Australian restaurant while visiting Copenhagen but my sister insisted that she wanted steak and this was near our hotel. Service was friendly and they were happy to answer our questions such as "what does crocodile taste like?" They carry a few bottled Australian beers and also have an array of interesting cocktails which were really good. I tried to be adventurous and got the crocodile wontons and then the kangaroo as my main. I would highly recommend the wontons! They were fabulous and I still think about them months later. I even managed to convince my family who were very apprehensive to try both my dishes and they said they wished they ordered the crocodile wontons!! The kangaroo entree tasted like red meat, almost like venison and I'm glad I tried it. For a safer route, the steaks they offer are high quality and very tasty as well! read more

The Tamanian Beef dish was sooo good. It melts in your mouth. It was also a comfortable portion... just hits the spot. This place cozy and is very accessible, close to the Central Station. Excellent service. read more

My sister and I ate here twice. It was very good and within walking distance of our hotel. The amount of rain dictated how far we were willing to walk, and this is just around the corner. The kangaroo is fabulous! Someone mentioned that it is like venison, and it is. I have had kangaroo before and love it. If you like deer or elk, you will like this. My sister had the barramundi fish and said it was very good. The second time we went we both had the steak. It was super good! My sister has some dietary restrictions and they worked with it and gave her a great meal. If you pay with a credit card they will bring the machine to your table. You have to put in the TOTAL for your meal -that means if you tip you have to do some adding in your head for the total. The second time we went I realized I had put in the TIP amount the first time. She had not noticed and told me not to worry. I will verify with my cc company when I get home and send them what I owe them! Btw, yes, service was relaxed. In Europe you must ask for your check, it is not automatically given to you just because you have finished eating. Americans are used to rushing our meals and leaving fast. read more

Mediocre experience. We we're there a Tuesday, and several dishes were sold out. Food was good once we got it, but service wasn't the best.

There are not that many restaurants that cooks a steak to perfection. Reef N'Beef is one of them.

This is an Aussie joint. If you're an American and thinking Outback, think again. This is carnivore heaven. They serve crocodile and kangaroo but that's not my thing. I had the Oz Wagyu Burger. It was damn good. I'd give this place 4 stars but the service was rather slow. Friendly but slow. read more

We had a lovely dinner after the movies at Reef N' Beef as so many times before. A very good atmosphere heavily influenced by the Australian waiters. For some unknown reason I were missing John English's music in the background this evening. read more

It was the first time I went to this place and I could try crocodile meat. The place itself is a bit chic and expensive (but I mean which place in Copenhagen is not expensive??), the food was very good (especially the crocodile) even though I could not really appreciate the taste of cangaroo. We ordered 2 glasses of good aussie wine and as dessert a mix of chocolate (mousse, cake), very very tasty! Nice place! read more

We went for the wagyu beef menu with fries and bearnaise sauce at the Australian Reef N' Beef restaurant. It was one of the worst price quality ratio for a restaurant dinner we have ever experienced. When you order wagyu beef you expect to get a very tender juicy steak. But the meat was dry and not tender at all. We doubt very much if the meat really was Australian wagyu meat. But if it was then the quality was the lowest possible. We asked for a replacement but the chef cook was not at all helpful and customer friendly and wouldn't offer another and hopefully better steak. The fries portion was small and the bearnaise tasted like the one you buy in the supermarket. Furthermore, the restaurant had problems with the draft beer machine and the beer was luke warm. Our waitress was friendly and she showed understanding but little did it help except for a beer on the house. We had a deal for which we paid around 45 usd or around half of the regular price. Even at 45 usd it was a rip-off. read more
