I had a glass of Sangiovese with firm tannins and savory black cherries. Not exactly a match for the delicate lobster that I ordered, but my wine is my main course! ;) Speaking of the Norwegian lobster, it was nicely grilled and put together with leeks, confit of salsify (akin to a turnip), green tomatoes and crispy rye bread. Their bowl of carrot soup is heartwarming and topped with candied lemon dill. Do not be shy to ask for extra bread since their bread is classically European: dark rye, semi dense and so good with butter. BOB served our purpose as a pre dinner soirée as their plates are meant for grazing and the ambiance, even on a weeknight, is pretty exciting. Or perhaps it was our seats that were facing the window, but we had a full view of the street happenings in the vibrant Vesterbro neighborhood. Locals rushing by on their bikes and street girls trying to meet her quota for the night. That is as organic as you can get.

For the entire outdoor seating area, it appeared there was only one server to cover everything: seating, taking orders, delivering your orders, clearing your table and of course, processing your check. There was so host either so it was rather awkward to stand around and figure out where to go TO be seated. I should have taken a cue from the cute Danish couple I spied, just a few feet away. The salmon it's self was cooked perfectly. Gently grilled on the outside and moist on the inside, and vegetables were perfectly seasoned. The sauce on the fish was an excellent touch. All in all, it was worth the $. He also recommended Carlsberg Pilsner. Beer that is popular in Denmark. I was tempted to get another one! And finally the desert. Wow, I would fly back to Copenhagen just for this! He recommended the Gammeldags æblekage (apple strudel), it was divine. Thank you for the excellent food and service. 10/10.
