Needless to say the breaker would not stay in place properly so I knew I needed a electrician. Mr. Electric was able to come next day. And like my last review he came early. He explained why it wasn't the breaker and that it was the wall outlet instead. Everything was good to go after wall outlet was replaced. I would say that it's was higher price than I expected ($350). Had this guy work at my house in May. Ken is the single worst A/C contractor I've ever dealt with…read more Dishonest, unprofessional, and frankly just another SWINDLER. HE'S A COMPLETE LIABILITY TO YOUR HOME. He came to troubleshoot my breaker tripping and diagnosed it as a fried hard start kit, said I needed a new compressor, refrigerant recharge, vacuum, and fan relay replacement--quoting $1,200 flat. Less than 24 hours before the job, he tried to jack up the price he already quoted. Only after going back and forth did he reluctantly agree to honor his own number. When he arrived, he made an existing hairline crack in my drip pan much worse, causing water to leak all over my floor, then refused to take responsibility. His excuse: "It was already cracked." He wanted to charge me for the damage HE caused. Conveniently, when he later discovered my parts were under warranty--including the drip pan--he suddenly "owned up" to replacing it, acting like he was some hero doing me a favor, as if he was really going to do it initially. His incompetence didn't stop there. After he brought back the incorrect fan relay, he left to the manufacturer place to switch it out. After disappearing for about 2 hours I finally hear back from him. He calls and lies about the place being closed. Reality: he left the incorrect fan relay part at my house and only realized it once he got there. In May, he told me he would install a new hard start kit for free if my breaker tripped again and to just let him know. It tripped in June and again in July. When I called, instead of honoring his word, he tried to push me off to an electrician and even told me to start saving $8,000 for a brand-new system--on a unit that's only 3.5 years old. When I followed up in August to see if he can come, he denied ever making the offer, then accused me of spreading false rumors about him--despite the fact I had never said a word publicly. I thought he sent the wrong text (thats how confused I was) but nope. I found out he lost my dad as a long time loyal customer in August due to not being upfront with his prices and then tried to take it out on me as a new customer. I guess in reality he wasn't going to do it anyways smh. I had to produce a picture of Ken holding my invoice on the day before he told me this along with what really went down via text message til he reluctantly admitted he had said it, then ghosted me entirely. I wrote down everything Ken told me in May on my notepad app which has the date and time stamped from the last time I updated that note on my device which still dates back to May. Ken is unreliable, emotionally unstable, and incapable of basic honesty. His integrity is nonexistent. His accountability is zero. If you value your home, time, money, and sanity, avoid this man at all costs. Hiring him is inviting chaos, damage, and lies into your life. Stay away unless you want A BREATHE OF FRESH PROBLEMS.

Consumer beware!!…read more I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Tropical Paver Sealing LLC. What started as a straightforward project quickly turned into a frustrating experience marked by delays, poor communication, and a lack of professionalism. The estimator came to my home to measure the project, which included sealing my pool deck and stripping/sealing my driveway pavers, walkway, and porch. During the visit, I was told the company was offering a 20% spring sale discount. I also asked whether they offered a military discount and was told they did -- an additional 10%. The estimator stated I would receive the estimate that same day or by the following day. Instead, it took three days to arrive. When I finally received the estimate, the 20% promotional discount had been applied, but the military discount was not included. Since the estimator had already confirmed that military discounts were offered, I accepted the estimate less the additional 10% discount and asked about scheduling the work. After that, several days passed with no response. I then reached out by phone and text with a few reasonable questions before moving forward. I requested proof of insurance, including issuance of a Certificate of Insurance (COI), and asked what precautions would be taken to prevent potential runoff and/or overspray from the sealer onto exterior walls and windows due to windy conditions, as well as runoff / overspray into my pool that could enter and flow into the skimmer causing damage to internal piping cartridge etc. These are standard concerns any homeowner should be able to discuss before work begins. Three days later, instead of answering my questions or addressing my concerns, the company abruptly decided not to move forward with the project. No meaningful explanation was provided. Because of this last-minute decision, I lost an entire week that could have been spent finding and scheduling another contractor. If the company had no intention of taking on the project, that should have been communicated upfront instead of wasting a customer's time. Homeowners rely on contractors to be responsive, transparent, and professional. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Requesting proof of insurance is a completely reasonable step before allowing work to be performed on your property. In Florida, contractors should generally carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance, or provide a valid exemption where applicable. These protections are important for both the homeowner and the workers involved. Based on how this situation was handled, I would strongly encourage others to do their due diligence before hiring this company.
