My son (who is almost 5) just had his first fillings done. I was nervous for him because we were going to try it without happy gas first (because my niece who is a similar age usually needs it). Dr. Lam made an assessment based off of how my son did with his cleaning and said he should be okay without it. And of course Dr. Lam was right and my son did great! Office is beautiful. When I asked about whitening, he actually told me he didn't think it was necessary for me - how often does that happen at a dentist's office? He takes the time to explain everything clearly and shows you x-rays and photos to help you understand what's going on with your teeth. You can text or call their office directly (no call centers or robots), and they'll verify your insurance coverage and go over any out-of-pocket fees before you arrive. They even send reminder texts and help you stay on top of when you're due for cleanings or treatments, so you don't have to worry about taking care of things yourself. They give you lip balm before your appointment, TVs to watch Netflix in front of you and on the ceiling, plus a hot towel afterwards. They also have handheld x-ray machines and no blinding lamp, which is great if you're someone who gets anxious in the dentist's chair. And they have complementary snacks and water, plus a cute nook for children to read and tokens for a vending machine at the end. It's the little things, here! I was worried about the cost, but I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable their prices were. I felt like I had been scammed by other dentist offices in the past, but not here. Top notch luxurious office without the lux prices. Office is very clean and sanitary unlike other chain offices I've been to. I really appreciate the fact it wasn't like going to a barber shop with all the loud music, hearing patients in the other room, and the hawking of unnecessary procedures. I was told during a tooth extraction that I would get a discount and get my teeth cleaned for $150. I paid $350 for the extraction two weeks ago. When I went in today to have them cleaned they did a good job but upon checkout they charged me $300 and said it was $150 per side. Why in the world would someone have just half of their teeth cleaned? I paid and told them that I would not be coming back because I was lied to. I DO NOT recommend Refine Dentistry! You are being ripped off. Find another dentist who won't cheat you after the services are performed. read more

Wow! Just Wow! We needed to select a new dentist and Dr. Lam's office is so much better than we were used to, or expecting. Light, bright and airy atmosphere and so obviously squeaky clean. Most importantly they're up on all the latest techniques and technology. The fastest and most pain-free regular cleaning I have ever experienced in my life; laser tech breaks up all the plaque without lengthy tedious scraping! Hygienists (and all the staff) are super friendly and helpful, and very knowledgeable. Answered all our questions and Dr. Lam worked with me on figuring out solutions to a new tea/coffee staining problem I had developed; he had a diagnosis I never in a million years thought would be related to teeth, but it was the correct cause of the problem as the change in medications started at the same time the staining did. Love our new doctor and hygienists and the whole office. Do yourself a favor and go see them. read more

Went here for the first time last week. My annual cleaning experience was great!! Very comfortable and the hygienist that tended to me had excellent bedside manners. She listened to my concerns and I really appreciate that. I like how this business takes pictures of your teeth and the pictures are so clean/ crisp! There's no debate or question about the condition of your teeth!!! I'm a very visual person so as a new patient this gives me a good perspective! I will be back soon! :) read more
