I haven't had the best experience with staffing agencies in the past so I was a little apprehensive at first. The following day I interviewed with Cindy and it was smooth sailing from there. Cindy matched me with just the right job/employers and I couldn't be happier. Hopefully I won't need to anytime soon but I'd definitely use Premier Placements again. The correct process was not explained to me. By the time I had decided to reach back out to them because I got an email stating there are job openings and they'd like to get in touch, the second person Nikki Howard insinuated that I intentionally skipped the process and gave me "a second chance". But a second chance for what? I was not given any information on how the process goes. A staffing company is supposed to help people land jobs. And honestly, they get a cut if someone gets hired. Communication goes a long way, but this company doesn't handle it well.

Shockingly they had the same experience... wrong start dates, she doesn't email or call back as soon as possible. She drags her feet when it coming to finding out information. Just be careful you all and really try to get hired on at the job, please do not go through this temp.

I called about subbing again for Kelly Educational, and I got an onboarding packet emailed to me immediately. The next week I was at orientation (which was really relaxed, enjoyable, and informative. Diane is a hoot!) and I was working that same week. There are many more locations to sub at than the last time I worked for this company, so it is really easy to find an assignment on the days you want to work. Also really easy to take off when you need to. Direct deposit and they pay once a week, as opposed to other districts, which only pay once a MONTH. Normal districts would require you to work a whole month and then get paid the following month, sometimes having to wait 6 weeks for a check! Other districts need to use Kelly Services to book their subs. It would be much easier, and the districts would have less liability, therefore making it easier on everyone involved (Employer, Employee, Admin, Other Teachers/Staff at the school, and Students).

I called her office on the following Monday morning and was advised she was on another call; I left my number and requested she call me back. No return call. The following Tuesday, late afternoon, I called her office again and was advised she was on another call, I left my number once more. No return call. I cannot imagine why it would take 3 days or more for an employment agency to return a phone call regarding a job posting, perhaps they need to hire someone for their office......
