I thought the procedure was going to be long and nasty. Believe it or not, it was actually quite enjoyable. Unlike other dentists, he explained what he was going to do before each step. I felt much more comfortable when I knew what exactly the doctor was doing to me. The procedure was done neatly and painlessly before I even realized. When I felt painful in my gum around that tooth 6mth later, I called the office and the receptionist was very nice to book me a consult on the same day. The assistant took the X-Ray free of charge. Dr Partnoy explained my X-ray thoroughly and confirmed my bone healed well. He advised me to get a crown instead of the permanent fillings, which was the same reason as what I expected. The team is absolutely professional and I would recommend here to anyone who needs to do a root canal.

I was referred to Endodontic Specialists by Dr. Robert Feeley of Downtown Dental Centre for a root canal. I simply can't recommend Dr. Glen Partnoy highly enough. He was very professional, straight and to the point. He explained the diagnosis thoroughly in terms I could understand and prepared me for the procedure. All in all it took less than an hour. Dr. Partnoy prescribed me pain meds but honestly I have felt no post-op discomfort of any kind. At then end of the day my insurer Manulife only designated eligible $934 out of $1355 for the root canal fee. They only pay the prevailing rate for a dentist to perform root canals as opposed to a specialist. For me I will be going to Endodontic Specialists everytime--it's worth it!

I was recommended by my regular dentist to see Dr. Galosky for a specialized root canal. I was in a pain for quite awhile, and I put off seeing the dentist because I knew it was going to be expensive. I finally made the appointment once I was unable to eat and the cold air outside caused me pain. Dr. Golosky instantly put me at ease with his great sense of humor and outgoing personality. Not only that, but he is clearly an expert at what he does. My tooth was on the higher scale for complexity due to the inflammation and the location of the tooth itself. The good doctor froze the shit out of that thing, and I felt nothing during the procedure, to the point where I actually fell asleep. Thats right people, I fell asleep during a root canal. There was hardly any pain afterwards, and I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Golosky for any endo work you need done. He rocks!

On wednesday i signed even more documents and sat in a chair to hear one of their persons say i looked like i had a beaver on my head, and after fully 10 people looked in there, they got the tooth extracted . Looked like they were trying to extract the most benefit for their own purpose while being as stingy as possible in all ways. I tried to book further. They told me i was unable to be accommodated further, so i walked out of the place with a mouth full of teeth badly in need of professional cleaning and prophylaxis, a basic dental plan, and the several thousand in cash i brought for extras.

My salary is not even enough for my rent, so I found this UofT dentistry that's cheaper than the regular dental clinic. I was very open about my health condition from the moment I inquired over the phone. Scheduled me for an X-ray ($90.00). Then for the checkup, I paid $60. You know if you are not earning enough, this is a big loss of money. After x-rays (I thought it was going to be the panoramic x-ray), I had mouth sores, which lasted for about 2 weeks; it was painful...stretching your mouth without at least petroleum jelly on my lips. Anyway, I just want to get my teeth fixed; it's really painful already. Then, I received a letter from them that I am not qualified because of my complex medical history, which I told them from day one. So I felt I paid them to study my mouth?! So disappointed. He discusses your individual case and is very thorough. His whole staff are very pleasant and they make you feel very comfortable. My root canal went better then some fillings that I have filled in the past. I really didn't feel the freezing, he used a local cream first and was so gentle withe the freezing. He has gentile steady hands and was so thoughtful through the whole procedure. He better insure his hands because they are more valuable than gold. If you need a root canal ask you dentist to refer you to him, like mine did. Don't go anywhere else!

Dr. Haas is an extremely precise, meticulous and highly-skilled endodontist. He has Zeiss lenses and laser equipment from Europe, to ensure the most precise outcomes. So grateful for his expertise. He is also very personable, polite and extremely respectful to all his patients. I think he's the best in Toronto, at his profession.

He's very skilled (and quick!) but also incredibly kind and patient with me, reminds me every visit that if anything is even a little uncomfortable to tell him right away, makes sure I'm okay at each stage before proceeding, and is just generally the best. Upon arrival at the building I was informed that the elevators were not working (for the whole building) so I climbed the 10 floors enjoying the morning exercise. However, the door to the floor was closed so I attempted to call the office, 5 tries later and no answer.... 10 minutes later somebody (not related to the office) opened the door. When I entered the office I explained what happened, people were not aware but there was one receptionist who almost challenged this chain of events (she just "didnt get" how it was possible). I even made a sarcastic joke that I was sorry for being 15 minutes early (9:15....) and its my fault....funny thing is that on their answering service (which picked up all those calling attempts) said that they are open from 8:30...but who is counting? There was no apology (even if token) but as I was filling the form I could hear this service oriented receptionist mumbling to her colleague about how un-believable my story was.... So for the first time in my life I just left. There are enough specialists in this city to deal with disrespectful service providers. Too many businesses keep "lifers" who dont really like their job and as a result treat us paying customers like just another number.
