Then the treatment plan for my oldest son seemed excessive for a 16 year old. Long in short they demanded up front payment without billing insurance because I missed an appointment scheduled for me. That was so I wouldn't come back and that was fine by me! We needed a second opinion anyway, however what they did was in poor taste! I'm often ill and suffer with many issues regarding my health! Needless to say I'll have to pay out of pocket for new x-rays because they billed my insurance for x-rays that can only be done annually through my insurance and no other Dentist will accept those film. I intend to call Aetna and let them know what they did. I don't recommend them A) Their treatment plan was sketchy ( appeared to be an attempt at $ grab) B) Due to unprofessional business practice( attempting to chastise me) by requesting payment up front I DO NOT recommend this dentist! Go elsewhere!

Carrie took the X-rays of my teeth and the music put me at ease and the newer equipment than I am accustomed too. She explained the process and was able to fit me in for my cleaning since there was a cancellation. Sarah Beth provided the detailed cleaning to include the frequency used to break up plaque, floss, and paste to have my teeth look the best I have seen without the coffee and tea stains. Finally, Dr. Weihi examined my whole cleaning and said my teeth looked remarkable. At the age 59 1/2 I am proud to have no cavities or fillings. Now it's time to look into the teeth whitening process! Thanks you Beachview Family Dental Practice!

The front office staff could use some customer service training. I don't think I've been there once when we've been called back on time (twice has been over an hour wait) which is a waste of both the patients and the parents time. Additionally, I've been lied to about confirming appointments. Instead of owning a mistake, they blame their system which "cancels" the appointment. Then when you call the main switch, they claim it is the members responsibility to confirm at least 24 hours in advance. If you require a hard confirmation, then begin 3 days prior to the appt and calling multiple days. Lying about a single call abysmal customer service. Additionally, please do not build in the 15 minutes for paperwork into the appointment time given to patients. It would be far easier if the paperwork was given when the person signs in, instead of waiting 15-20 minutes later for it, then continuing to wait. Please consider completing a continuous process improvement on your check in as the system that is currently used is broken. Each appointment I've been to, I've waited about 20-30 minutes from arrival to completing paperwork, then only being called back to pay for the visit. As an aside, if I've prepaid before the actual work is done, there is a chance that the services/surfaces will have changed which will adjust the fees. Pre-paying implies that you do not trust the customer which is embarrassing. After paying, it still takes another 15-30 minutes for the actual appointment visit to begin. Ultimately I've wasted on average two hours for an hour appointment. It is rather frustrating. Please take a moment to reconsider the business model, you'll end up being more successful if you treat your patients with respect.

Yesterday I dropped Poppy off for her FIRST AND LAST DAY at this daycare. I took her in at 7:30AM, unpacked her diapers and wipes, got her cubby set up, got her situated, made her feel as comfortable as possible, and trusted that this facility would keep our daughter safe. As most children, she cried when I left. Queue the heartbreak already. So I called during my lunch to check on her at 12:05PM. From there I was told she was sleeping, had calmed down shortly after I left, and was sleeping on her mat. Great!! She was sleeping! I walked in to pick her up at 3:06PM. A worker who worked in the room next to hers was holding her. I asked how her day went, she said she was fine, and she did have to let her "cry it out because she had other children to attend to." She handed me her paper log, I asked what do I need to take home for the day, grabbed the belongings, picked up Poppy, and left. We get home, I go to change her diaper..and see this. A large bruise on her privates, and a large bruise on her leg. Both of which align perfectly with a finger print and a thumb print. (in my opinion) Fast forward after the many calls, texts and chaos that occurred, we take her to the ER to verify nothing internal had happened, and documentation. Luckily, the scans showed nothing. Praise God. However, the word "force" was used from the Doctor who saw us, and hearing that word used against a baby makes you sick to your stomach. In between this, I spoke with the Executive Director Matt Dickens and a woman named Jennifer. Who informed me the worker will be placed on leave while they conduct their investigation. And that they will be reviewing the cameras to see what happened. And will give me a call after their investigation to update me. HOW DOES A BRUISE, LET ALONE THAT LARGE GET ON A CHILDS PRIVATES?? WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING! We have filed a CPS Report against this daycare. We have filed a police report against this daycare. We have contacted the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!!! Please please please, do not send your child here! She was in their care for less than 8 hours for one day. God knows what's actually happening there and being missed.

I came on a Sunday not really realizing there was a larger city event going on in town, which only affected my visit here by slowing down traffic. The employees are very friendly and more than happy to share information about the trains and the city in general. Though they were all about the cruise in that was going on, and I am not into large groups of people. There are model trains with whole cities around them, mock ups of famous buildings, large stores, all made from Legos and similar materials. There is a Jurassic Park, gnomes, dinosaurs and oh so much more. If you are in the area, I highly recommend a stop in here to spend a few hours, especially if you have small humans with you.

When we got to our room, it was filthy. The staff had hours upon hours if not days to clean it from the family who stayed prior. The sheets were bundled up and tossed onto the beds, the furniture was somewhat intact with the pillows strown across the room, it just wasn't habitable. We called the owner of the the resort and they were rightfully flabbergasted (embarassed and upset) So they called and told the staff to get it cleaned and that it would be an hour or so, so we went out to eat, which the owner of Sienna payed half of for us (thank you!) The first few days were great, but i noticed that the staff was always on edge and pretty strict. We really wanted to use the hot tub but it was broken, however it only took 1 day to fix. On the 3rd day which is the day I'm writing this, I put a dollar in the downstairs vending machine which it took, but it wouldn't take the 2nd (i needed to pay $1.75) so i said BET! and tried to feed it my quarters, but they just went through the machine and down to the change catcher. Then we tried to press the refund button as hard as we could... nothing, dollar was gone. The condominium looks really good, mind you kind of small, there's enough rooms and beds for a family of 5 and nobody sleeping on the couch, and if you have more than 5, there's a retractable bed in the couch, plus the one master bedroom has i believe a king size bed fit for 3 and still have room. The one nice staff member will always greet you when you come in or come down, so that's nice. If you want to book the resort, go for it and try to get the top floor as it's the best view. There are no side rooms so you don't have to worry about not getting a good view, as you'll always have the ocean to look at comfortably. My last complaint, but not the end of the review: Both the outdoor pool and indoor pools are very warm. The indoor pool is only 4 feet at it's deepest point which is only in the middle. The rest is 3 feet. The hot tub is very small, so only about 4 people can fit in it at a time. The steam room steams up in large intervals and is extremely hot, i could only stay in for about 5 minutes and when you start it up, it takes a good 7 minutes to even do anything before water comes spewing out of a small pipe in the wall and gradually heats up until its steam. I haven't noticed anywhere to have breakfast at the resort, so bring your own food or buy some at walmart in town. If you're looking to go out and eat, i absolutely recommend Woody's roadstop, the food is absolutely awesome although they did forget out appetizer, so we had to ask for it again. Glad we did, it was awesome! If you want some family fun, I can't recommend Altitude Trampoline Park or Big Play Entertainment enough!! The trampoline park is MASSIVE with LOTS to do. There's 2 things that are out of commission though, the obstacle course, and the arm.. thing (you're supposed to jump over it while it spins, but it just doesn't spin anymore.) Big Play Entertainment is filled with lots of great arcade games, and a go kart track which is also fun. One last thing; Fishing charters are $500 or so if you want to do that! That's it, that's my review! Book it if it's what's you can afford, if you can go for more, and are willing to travel further, go to Phenoix West in Orange Beach, Alabama!

I had a few places in mind to stay, but landed on Sienna by the Coast. The owners of the unit we are staying in did a good job with decorations and has most everything you would possibly need in the kitchen, but our trip has been ruined on our first full day, and we have 4 more ahead. We were all at the pool, the kids 17,16, 12 and 8 were all on one side and my friend and I were on the other. One of the children came over and told us that the security guard walked up to my 16 year old daughter and told her she was dressed inappropriately and needed to cover up (due to her bathing suit bottoms). I asked the security guard about it and I was told the same and he was already writing up an incident report. She was in a regular bikini you would buy at any store. She was a gymnast 13 years of her life and has a great figure, but she was covered, she wasn't in a thong. She's 16 and I would not allow anything inappropriate. The HOA President, Frank, ended up showing up and was telling me me the same, then wanted to go check her himself. I'm Sorry, but that is creepy that you want to go JUDGE my child, but due to how they were talking to me, I KNEW he wouldn't change his mind anyway. I had NO issue with what she was wearing, I would not expect anyone to be checking her out to a point of needing to judge her on whether we could stay or have to leave. I remained calm and talked respectfully just wanted to understand the situation. Both the security guard and Frank were extremely condescending and dismissive. They suggested we go buy her a new bathing suit. I just bought her 5 new bathing suits for this trip, I am not buying her any more because a man-child can't handle a girl in her bathing suit. They told me it's against the HOA rules that only state "appropriate attire" and I was told it was subjective to the security guard working. Now my daughter is completely creeped out and won't go to the pool, even in a different suit, for fear of being stared at in the security cameras, because this is how he saw her. I'm sorry but if you want rules this strict, there needs to be a better description or photos of what is appropriate attire. He said it was because her butt cheeks were showing. They want full coverage that goes all the way under the butt cheeks. And if that's the case put THAT in the HOA agreement, don't let it be subjective. Also keep in mind, I never saw the HOA agreement because I was renting from an owner and there was only a limited rental agreement I had to sign with no mention of this. We also had a 12 year old girl with us that had her cheeks showing as well but that was ok because she didn't have any junk in her trunk I guess. Furthermore, there was a few other people down by the pool that couldn't believe this happened to us. They own here and said they have seen MUCH worse by grown adults, but also quickly corrected herself saying there was nothing wrong with her suit. I'm extremely disappointed in this place. We drove 15 hours and chose a small town beach town so we wouldn't be out partying with a bunch of people doing inappropriate things in front of our kids since it is Spring Break. Now we will be stuck at the beach, which isn't great because it's the Gulf, or sit in our room to ensure that my daughter doesn't feel uncomfortable. There are plenty of other places to rent from, you should stay away from this place.

The owner, Maegan Fowler or…read moreRussell (who has blocked me because she doesn't want to face the consequences and is trying to hide) is unprofessional, unorganized, and greedy. She has not been physically a part of the pre-k since the end of last year. My major grievances: -the school closes unexpectedly all of the time. We regularly get messages the morning of, notifying us that the school we be closed for the day. This is usually due to a teacher quitting without notice or a teacher being sick. They have no back-up staff and have offered only one makeup day over the course of the past year. We did not even get to take advantage of this makeup day because we had to pull our kids out due to extreme unprofessionalism and pettiness. There is no discount on tuition when this happens, even though we have to scramble to find someone to come keep our kids and pay them by the hour to do so. -they have a "strict" no pick up time from 12-2. They will not let you pick up your children during this time for any reason. Being a former employee at TWO daycares, my educated theory is that if the children wake up, the teachers can't take a lunch break since they'll be over ratio. Im sure they're already over ratio for nap time and just say that the kids are sleeping, because my daughter has told me that she usually doesn't sleep while she's there. There have been several times they've said that Theo naps, and she told me that he did not. This is just my personal perspective on the situation for this particular Issue. Regardless, a parent should have access to their children at any time of any day. -the FEES! $15 Out of uniform fee, $325 registration fee that is supposed to include uniform shirts but we never got ours for our daughter, $20 per day per kid late fee, fees everywhere you look! She's also changed tuition cost four or five times in the year we have been there. She's also completely changing her hours to only offer TWO hour classes (that's it, no extra time unless you double enroll) for $500 a month. Two hours a day, 5 days a week. So I don't even need to be making this post, she's going to run her business into the ground herself. But if I can prevent ANY family from going through the nightmare of dealing with the owner, I absolutely will. -high teacher turnover. I don't really have to explain this one too much. Ask any FORMER teacher and they'll tell you. - she personally reached out to me on Facebook to offer a reduced rate to fill a spot at her school. She then told me a few weeks later that they had a "waitlist" and Theo needed to move to full time($60 weekly increase) or find a different daycare. That would've been annoying, but understandable IF IT WERE TRUE. The same week she was posting about incentives to "fill spots" at the daycare, because word of mouth was their best advertisement. (Screenshots included of all of this) My son also "took a tumble" in the bathroom shortly before nap time and had a MASSIVE knot on his head that remained there for over a week. No further explanation of the incident was given. Why did an 18 month old even have access to the bathroom? They put my daughter in a T-SHIRT and PANTIES after an accident during nap time. The whole time, she had a sized 4T dress in her bookbag in a ziploc labeled "Elliana's clean clothes."
