I searched various websites for florists in Laredo, and Simply Flowers was one of the few sites that didn't feel too commercial, or generic. I took the chance and called in. I explained the situation to the owner, and she was very patient and understanding. Sadly, the funeral arrangement we paid $100's of dollars for was not at the funeral home at 4pm. When I called the florist, the person on the phone told me deliveries started at 4. When I told him my concern that the funeral was a one day and that we paid a lot for these arrangements, I was told the deliveries could not be made earlier because the funeral home would not allow. That was a lie, I had spoken to the funeral director and they take deliveries as soon as 2pm and they don't turn any deliveries away unless they are a day too early. I was also reminded that they could not expedite the delivery because I was not the only one and they served over 30,000 customers. I told the man, I'm sorry, I didnt.realize I was not the only customer and I hung up. The manager preceeded to call me back on his cell, and without me saying a word, he said, "What I can do for you is just cancel your order." Just a quick update, they did not cancel my order and it was delivered at about 5pm.

The florist sent me a notice saying the flowers were delivered and billed me. My guess is IF they delivered the flowers they did so after the funeral home had closed for the day. Not really very useful. I should have been told upfront that delivery time could not be dependable. I would not recommend this florist or Teleflora for out-of-town orders.
