I see my review was removed. Do not go to this Dr. I have never been the same. I still to this day suffer from pain, a blood clot disorder, PEs, DVTs, my body hurts and my legs hurt everyday and I am still forced to work. I take medicine everyday just to function. I almost died from a very serious blood clot that shut down my right lung and exploded in my lungs. His partner was a jackass and tried to have me released from the hospital one day after I was there and was being told by Dr Patel to leave me alone since Dr Byrne was on vacation. His partner was banned from my room. I could only take tramadol and after I finally got out of the hospital and had to have my vein shut down due to the blood clot damage it caused in my vein. I complained to the nurse two days before I had the blood clot and was told it was just the tube causing issues. It was not. I had a massive blood clot in my groin that broke off and went through my body and into my lungs almost killing me. After that episode I was basically ignored by the office, tried to call and never got a call back. They stopped filling my prescriptions, I had to have a home health nurse for several weeks and it took me over a year or more to feel half way decent if that's what you want to call it, spent several more lovely visits in ICU SINCE THEN, had to quit my career, go to constant doctors appointments, still do, it's been a very expensive and life changing experience for me. I had my procedures done in my mid 30s and I'm 42 now and I feel like an 80 year old lady body wise. I will never be the same for the rest of my life. I felt so guilty and such a burden to my family and husband of 16 years I left so they didn't have to take care of me anymore. Changed my life forever. My legs have severe nerve damage and DVT damage and vein damage, yet I had to start my career again to continue to pay bills and survive. I can't work out any longer due to my body hurting every single day. I wish I had never did a mommy makeover and letting them even come near my legs. They were fine before. The only good thing was the reduction and lift. That's it. Other than that I'm damaged beyond repair, had to have a filter put into my body to catch any future blood clots and I have to live with this forever. I would love to sue the pants off these people, but what lawyer wants to sue a doctor in a small local town where they all know each other. Or just take care of my medical bills and my life for the rest of my life, Or just until I get that final deadly blood clot and die and we will call it even. read more

In January of 2014 I had a double mastectomy and during the surgery Dr. Bruce Byrne started the reconstruction process by implanting two expanders and taking over on my chest care. My non cancerous side never healed properly and for 4 1/2 months I went through hell. I had a 1 inch by 1 1/2 inch wound that caused numerous fevers, infections, pain and redness. I had to text a photo for his patient navigator nurse to see so I could get antibiotics. She was surprised at the wound. This was going on while I was having chemotherapy too, a truly painful experience. Dr. Byrne kept telling me he hoped it would heel. I went into his office in May and demanded he do something, three days later I went under anesthesia and the knife yet again. What I ended up with was taut skin stretched to 1mm thickness, deformation and a migrating expander. The wound was gone but what I was left with was depressing. I kept photo records of everything. Dismayed, discouraged and feeling ugly I decided to fire him. His staff was less than kind, but I did manage to get copies of my records. Going back to my Breast surgeon she recommended a far superior plastic surgeon. I went to talk with him and he was less than enthused about the work already done by Dr. Byrne, but he has done an outstanding job and I had DIEP surgery three weeks ago. He told me that when he touched my skin, where the infection had been, it split wide open once he put a scalpel there. Shame on Dr. Byrne for letting me suffer during Cancer treatments, to disfigure me, leaving open wounds for over four months. It was barbaric at best! You'd be crazy to go to this quack. I can't say enough about Dr. Byrne and his staff. I had a very difficult time during my treatment of breast cancer. I spent about one-third of a year in and out of the hospital for various complications (NONE related to Dr. Byrne or any other doctor for that matter.) I underwent many procedures that took a toll on my body and self esteem. I was diagnosed at 38, and I felt like I would never feel feminine again after losing both breasts and my hair. Well, the hair grew back, and thanks to Dr. Byrne I ended up with breasts better than I started with (no joke.) I honestly didn't have much hope for a good outcome, but my results blew me away! I saw Dr. Byrne after a motor vehicle accident due to having glass from the windshield still in my hand along with cuts. He saw me the very next day. He was very gentle, cleaned my hand up and let me know that I could have pieces of glass emerge that were not visible at the time he saw me. I did have two chunks that ended up emerging about a week or two later, so he did a small office procedure to extract them. He did a great job and the two scars are minimal, which I was very happy with considering they are on the top of my hand. His staff was also amazing and were so nice. I have already had two family members see him and they were as pleased as I was. Overall, had a great experience with Dr. Byrne and his staff. read more

Dr. Byrne performed a facelift on me in July 2017. I had jowls, rippled, saggy skin underneath my chin and very pronounced laugh lines. After the surgery I noticed a bulge underneath my chin. It appeared that instead of tightening the skin he filled it with fat to smooth out the wrinkles. So, instead of loose, wrinkled skin I had a bulge. Not what I expected nor what I wanted. I asked him how the fat got there and he shrugged his shoulders and said he did not know. Also, he managed to turn my left ear lobe into a webbed earlobe. He did not mention my mangled earlobe until I brought it up. He did offer a revision which I had done this past February. There are incisions similar to a suture suspension which is not a facelift. My left earlobe is still slightly webbed. My jowls are starting to reappear(suture suspension?) and it looks like he enlarged the area underneath my chin to show no loose skin or bulge. Kinda like a football player's chin area. My cheeks are filled with fat making me look fat and overall am very disappointed. Would not recommend Dr. Byrne. read more
