We'd forgot her lead so Christina, a member of the staff here came out to the car and administered Sophie's shot for her That to me speaks of empathy which is a lost art these days. I highly recommend Dr Bates and the wonderful staff at Baxter Springs Animal Hospital!

She diagnosed my yorkie with a Thyroid…read morecondition just by looking at his "skin condition " that I was told was allergies by a different vet, and her father Dr Bates agreed and drew blood to be checked for thyroid issue. This was done quickly after Dr Bates put his knee that was injured on the ice, back in place. He was very thorough and explained everything to me. Gave Magic a shot for pain and yeast in his ears. Sent me home with pain medication and will find out his thyroid issue tomorrow. I have a new veterinarian for my pups.

I wasn't thrilled at having to visit a new vet so fast but I just picked this one. The receptionist was friendly and professional. The vet asked a lot of questions and was very personable with me and my older cat. I was told Parsons vets were high priced the the price (keep in mind I just moved from Texas) was lower than I anticipated. I think I found my new permanent vet.

They don't over charge or sell you things you don't need--they care about their customers and animals getting the care they need. My husband became extremely ill and had to go to some out of state specialists. Money was really tight. TLC boarded my animals for half price (put two to a cage instead of one per cage). I couldn't have boarded them if she hadn't helped me out by doing this. My animals would have been out in the freezing cold for a week when they're used to being inside. TLC understands emergencies that people have. They are all heart all the time. All the employees are super great too. They make you feel like you've gone to a friend's house with their warm welcome's and helpfulness. My animals like this vet too. They've been to some they didn't like and you can tell the difference. They also carry all kinds of food, pills, drops etc that your pet needs. We're very rural so no place close sells the special food that one of my animals has to have. TLC stocks it for me so I don't have to drive three hours every couple of weeks to get some.
