The service at the Rockledge Office has always been exceptional and more recently in the last few years I have had opportunity to visit the Indian Harbour Beach branch. This service is always exceptional, there's almost never any wait and I'm treated like a VIP at the IHB branch and at every Community Credit Union Office.

I rarely ever go into a Chase branch, I mostly do everything online. But sometimes there are things…read morethat you can do only in person and not quickly at the teller counter. The one time that I go here, I walk in and there are plenty of people at their desks serving zero customers. There is neither greeting nor acknowledgment and no sign-in sheet. So I just stand there assuming the people at their desks are busy, and I just wait. At other banks I'd normally fill in the sign-in sheet and just sit down, but again, nothing resembling a check-in here. Eventually, an annoyed lady whose name tag says April Nichols, VP gets up from one of the desks and walks up to me and just looks at me and says, "What do you need?" The rest of the customer service interface was similar. No pleasantries, no friendliness, definite rudeness. I didn't even realize we were done because at the end all she said was okay. So I just sat there confused until she said, "You can leave now." I did not feel like a customer at all. I've never experienced this kind of customer service at any other bank, and I bank at 3 other non-Chase major banks. This was just bizarre and rude. I'll keep my Sapphire and other credit cards, but after this, I'm definitely changing branches. If this is what Chase's front-end customer service is like, I'll probably just switch my accounts to another bank with better customer service.
