I moved down her in Aug 1019 and opened an account with PenAir about 8 months ago. I was able to…read moreacquire an auto loan and i thought everything was going good until i fell victim to a scam. i agree i should have known better but i put a check into my savings account until PenAir said it was ok to cash it Once the bank ok'ed the check i cashed it then right after i cashed it PenAir said it bounced. as a result i ended with an overdraft for the amount of the check in my saving account. i have been working with PenAir to try to take care of this by making payments to my saving to cover this overdraft. PenAir stated that they are going to write this off but because of that my checking account will also be closed. my social security will be deposited into my savings account (the one they are going to write off) and i can access it from there by going to the bank and withdrawing my money which means i cannot pay any bills from this account. As a result i have to open another account with a different bank and once again set up payment arrangements with my bill collectors. this is ridiculous i should not have to go through this when i have been trying to make arrangements to cover this. granted this is partly my fault however as i have said the check would never have been cashed if the bank had not said it was ok so be careful what you put into the bank especially this one.

I have had great experiences with Gulf Winds since we used them as our main banking so many years…read moreago. Hmm 18 or so when they first changed over and bought out the Escambia Cty Employees CU. We've had great business with them ever since. They always have great auto loans for financing and even when we moved away they were still better than our other credit union so we always kept our loans with them. They worked out our purchases over the phone and online with no problems. And this most recent time we were back in town and they were fantastic. Can't say that for the dealership they suck. But Gulf Winds is Awesome and got us in so fast and not a hassle whatsoever even at the last min they stayed and got us in. Thanks Josh! (because the dealership apparently operates under molasses and ran us to the last minute to do what should have taken 1/3 of the time!) So even though we were away for 9 years we still kept them and glad we did!

Horrible customer service...never enough people working . Please hire more employees!!read more

I was a customer in good standing of this bank since 03/09/20…read more On 06/07/21 I got a call from the manager saying they were closing BOTH my personal and business accounts, and wouldn't tell me why. Both of my accounts were in good standing and had no fraudulent activity. I was a customer in good standing for *over a year.* Then they cancelled both of my accounts are are refusing to explain why. Since cancelling my accounts they have been nothing but dismissive and unprofessional. They were making money off of my accounts for over a year, and they don't even have the decency to tell me why they closed them.

I had a business account with regions for few years then someone scammed my account then Regions…read moreclosed my account and refused to give me my balance $$, Regions system is not safe as they allowed scammer to deposit fake checks to customer account then scammer use that information to take money out my account.. It has been almost two years now since I have been trying to get my balance refunded but nobody at regions know anything ...I called all the departments that I know of and went inside the branch still no help.. This is the worst bank, I have never seen such behavior from a bank before and I dont even know how legally Regions is still in business with the way they treat customer hard earned money...so save yourself from the headache and possibly risking losing your money stay away from Regions bank..I have had the worst banking experience in my life dealing with Regions bank...dont be the next victim like I am.
