Regus is by far the worst performer in the shared office space business. They have no concept whatever of customer service. This is a review for both this specific location and Regus in general as the two are closely intertwined. Regus has 25 or so office spaces in the Houston area. This one is okay. It's a traditional office so nothing really stands out. One weird thing is that you have to open a door to enter their kitchen area. They lock the kitchen door right at 5 p.m. so I was unable to retrieve my lunchbox. I had no prior notice that the kitchen would be locked right at 5. That was an ordeal in itself. Now to the good stuff . . . grab your popcorn. Have you ever interacted with a business in a way that is so bad that it becomes comical? That's what it's like to deal with Regus. I was looking for some office space for several days so I completed a form online and was contacted by a Regus rep. During my conversation with the rep, I was trying to find out as much information as I could about pricing and other relevant details so I could make an informed and cost-effective decision. The lady I spoke to wasn't being very clear so I had to follow up several times with additional questions to get the information I needed. From everything she told me, she recommended a monthly contract which would allow me to use the office six times in a one-month span. From there, I would have to cancel by a certain date (with no penalties) to not be charged for a second month. Going this route was cheaper than renting an office for three days so I was able to get a better price and double the office time. The day before the deadline to cancel, I emailed my rep to cancel the agreement. She informed me that I must cancel online by logging into my account. I attempted to do so but the instructions she provided, as well as the instructions listed on Regus' website, were not options that were present on my particular account. I alerted her of this and she asked me to submit a support ticket online and also provided me with customer support's email address. I reached out using both methods. Since this was urgent, I wanted to speak with a customer service rep by phone but Regus does not provide this option. Several days passed and I never heard back from Regus by email. I shared this with my contact and she asked me to send them another email. I did. No response. It ended up taking Regus customer support almost two weeks to respond to my inquiry. Seriously?! Does a customer service/tech support department even exist at this company? To make matters worse, the response I received made it clear that they did not understand the issue I was experiencing even though I explained it clearly. I provided all relevant information and made my request again but their subsequent response showed that their team either lacks any drop of intelligence or was purposefully being unhelpful. My Regus rep even reached out to customer service herself on my behalf the elevate the issue. My rep told me that they would take care of it and refund me for the second month (my credit card was automatically charged since my agreement had not "officially" been terminated on their end). After weeks of frustration and wasted time, my issue had not been resolved. I had to reach out to my credit card company for assistance and they provided support so that I was refunded and will not experience charges from Regus in the future. Regus, you are a joke of the company. I had patience as I know the coronavirus has made things difficult for many businesses, especially commercial real estate, but my experience was truly incredible. The incompetence I experienced is truly legendary. Do yourself a favor. If you need to rent an office space, don't go with Regus. Go with one of their competitors, it has to be a better experience than what I went through. I also fear that they are attempting to intentionally dupe prospective customers which, if true, is a morally reprehensible business strategy. read more

July 1, 2022 update : Today I received yet another fraudulent charge from Regus. This time it is for $821.55. They are unbelievable! Even though they are currently under investigation by the Attorney General of Texas, and they have received a "merchant block" from my credit card company due to numerous fraudulent charges, they are still trying to extort money. Keep in mind that my contract ended with them on January 31, 2022 in good standing and with a $0 balance. NEVER do business with Regus! They will try to charge your credit card forever! read more

This review is for Regus overall as a company not just one location. To whom this may concern, please be aware and read carefully. I was only like 2 weeks late on getting Regus their monthly payment and they treated me as if I was 2 months behind because they instantly sent my account to collections. So make sure if you're going to start a contract with this company make sure that you are able to pay on time with no exceptions because your situation will not matter no matter the history that you have with this company even if it has been good. They have no courtesy for tenants. This could explain why their office floor is so empty. First off one of the collection agents I spoke with insulted me with a statement saying if I would have read my contract then etc... which I explained to her that I clearly understand the contract but the issue that I am having has nothing to do with the contract. I explained to her that I noticed that no representative ever checks the account before reaching out threatening a tenant to see if a situation has changed. The system shows that the issue is resolved but Regus still try to pursue legal action even after a situation has completely been resolved, one of the collection agents I spoke with a couple hours before this person said she could see where I made the payments, she can see that I am current and she can see that the payment was made days before prior to the email I received from Regus threatening to take legal action. So I reached out to see why Regus is threatening to take legal action knowing that they can see the issue resolved and she brought up the contract to diminish my concern. I mean if one representative can see it that means everyone can, correct? YES! I've been with this company for 2 years and I've been late before but never experienced this type of treatment. Out of the 2 years of being with this company I've only been late 4 times making this situation the 4th due to the slow period of my business which all companies have slow periods. I'm an independent company so I'm guessing that's why I have been treated as such. Even the receptionist at the Regus office front desk stated to me that this happens to independent businesses all the time at Regus so if for any reason if you can't afford it anymore I could just move out and she could terminate my contract, send it to collections, take me to court and put it on my credit. WHAT? What type of courtesy and care for a tenant who's been 95% of a contract paying on time is this? They treat me as if we have constant issues. She went straight in if I can't afford it which is not the case at hand. Communication is key, something I see that Regus nor its representatives have for tenants. Regus and its employees need to work on addressing situations with loyal tenants. After so many years or months of current payments you would think to have a little more courtesy with tenants instead of threatening to take legal action without even knowing the tenants' situations. I would never recommend anyone to this company ever and once this binding entrapped contract that this company has in place expires I will be more than excited to move my business elsewhere. I will be taking this review to Google, Yelp, Bing, etc... and any other social spot that I could leave a review on this company. Used this location for 18 months. After 13 months they decided they didn't know who I was and started to return mail to sender addressed to me (CEO) as 'unknown' to them!! This is 6 months after their phone system stopped taking messages for my business phone number and it was only by chance I discovered the problem. They're a disaster in my opinion and no way near up to the standard of previous REGUS locations I have used for my business previously. Despite my complaints, I was treated like it wasn't a big deal and was sent copy of clauses which effectively meant 'tough luck'!! I wouldn't ever use REGUS again after how they handled my complaint either. read more

REGUS is a F--KING CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE!!! Their contracts are mis-leading, contain hidden fees, and they are Masters of the Bait and Switch. Do yourself a favor ask for the following in writing numerically written: How much is due at signing? How much is monthly? What are ALL of the deposits and fees due over the life of my contract? Spell-out how much is due MONTHLY, ANNUALLY, and at the CONCLUSION of YOUR CONTRACT. THEY ARE GOING TO F--K YOU SOMEWHERE...THE QUESTION IS WHERE? THE WHY IS SIMPLE...BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT CRIMINALS DO!!! BTW, their deposit fees are double of what most of the marketplace is doing...2 months vs. 1 under annual contract. Finally, do your homework and be aware...these Sons of Bitches are a really big Corporation...and own and do business as 8 or 9 other "brands" as well...so know who you are dealing with and avoid these PRICKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
