But recently we needed a new sofa so we paid this store a visit. I was a bit disappointed as most of the sofas were leather. Some of them were really good quality but a lot were just rubbish. There was a sale on, but nothing seemed to be especially good value. Sales staff were ok, they weren't too pushy although we were approached several times. I didn't buy anything but I suppose if you wanted leather then there might be something there for you.

The store is nice and bright and stocks a good range of items from locks to power tools and wood. The wood can be cut to the size you need. They also have some fires and garden equipment. They had a really good sale on just before Christmas where I picked up some nice ribbon. The staff are friendly and the stock is well signed. The prices can be a bit more than other diy places but the 10% weekends are really handy.

Bellshill town centre is very poor for shopping. There are only a few clothes shops, most of which…read moreare charity shops. The only other places to buy clothes are in Aladdins on Hamilton Road, which has a shop selling some half decent, but not especially fashionable clothes. Bellshill's only other shops are a Woolworths, a small Boots, a Semi Chem and a few supermarkets and news agents. It does have a number of take aways selling a variety of unhealthy food. Other than this the town centre only has a few pubs. It's generally a very poor town centre and with the new traffic arrangements Bellshill is getting quieter each week.
