They're de-lish…read more First-Hand Experience: Yelp asked me to include more information about my personal experience at this stadium, and basically, I've used these facilities and they were fairly good. I was a soccer player in the UK on and off when I was there for the last 15 or 20 years, and while this doesn't rank alongside the best fields I've used, it's up to par and well-maintained and on the outskirts of London, near where my parents used to live. The only part of these facilities I ever used was the soccer (footy) field. It was a pretty standard field, with good grass and nice changing rooms. It definitely felt like a private school and not a public place. It's way out in Morden. It wasn't the best place I ever played football, but the facilities are just fine.

It comprises of a club house, a bar with SKY TV, pool tables, changing rooms, a function hall, squash courts, a football pitch, rugby pitch and cricket field and nets for use all year round. You have to be a member for a lot of the facilities and preference is given to men who used to attend Rutlish Boys school on nearby Watery Lane, SW20. The assocation runs mini-rugby for kids on a Sunday morning and cricket in the summer for children too. Women are welcome and they sometimes use their large field for events. Their window displays are appealingly colourful; accurately reflecting the enticing ranges they stock. Aside from the more predictable Nike and Adidas they have top quality Kiwi brand Canterbury, Merrell and Puma, amongst others. There's a good selection for both men and women, with items pretty well displayed, within brands. The colour choice is diverse rather than just predictable, although I found many of the items I would have liked had already sold-out in the smallest sizes. Although it wasn't very busy during my visit, I spent a while browsing alone before I had the opportunity to ask about stock availability. I found a couple of colourful running vests (although not my first choice) and was very happy with the prices - especially good, as it was sale time! The unpleasant surprise came when I unwrapped my purchases, at home, to discover a security tag had been left on one of the tops - embarrassing! I returned the next day - feeling a little anxious - 'beeping' even just walking outside some stores I passed. I 'beeped' again when I entered their store and explained what had happened. They apologised, saying they must have been very busy and removed the tag without even asking to see my receipt(!) - which I had in my hands, ready to show them. Overall, not the most relaxing shopping experience

From first glance, Shilllington Park looks pretty plain. Even Wandsworth council didn't think…read moreenough of it to give it a consistent name (it's listed in some documents as Shillington Open Space and some as Shillington Gardens - but the signage says "park" so I'm sticking with that!). But there it is, hiding little treasures. The main open space of the park is quite popular with the local pooch set. Around the edge of the open area is one of the few outdoor gyms in the area. This is pretty great if you don't want to join a gym and still want to decent workout options. There are all sorts of pieces from airwalkers to an elliptical cross-trainer to pull down bars, chest press machines, pull up bars, rowing machines, and a few more that escape my brain. The weight-type machines use your own body weight. They're all pretty well-maintained as well. The park has a small playground for the kids (that also gets used by the abutting C of E primary during the daytimes) on one side and around the other has a lovely tree-lined walk with benches and picnic tables. At the back of the park is a railway arch that passes under the tracks to the adjoining Falcon Park which is a large open space that even more popular with dogs. This is one of those 'small but might' places in the area. Definitely worth a look.

Lots of classes to choose from, some good and some not so good teachers…read more Changing rooms are average with them taking 5 months to replace a light bulb in the toilets. The exercise studio is a disgrace. Flooding damaged the ceiling and the floor, classes were cancelled so they could repair the floor but they didn't and when they cancelled them for a second time they only replaced parts of the floor and left large damaged areas unrepaired. Cheap and cheerful but don't expect anyone to return your calls or answer emails and staff are generally kept in the dark so unable to help much. The booking app is abysmal, regularly doesn't work, was supposedly updated and now doesn't work again. You can't book by phone as they don't answer. Booking via the website is ok if you know what class you want to book, if it then it's a nightmare.

It did get a bit annoying in January when the post Christmas 'new year new you' crowd were in, but thankfully it's returned to normal now. A community club with a great history of being one of the oldest rugby clubs in london…read more The club is trying to grow its playing structure from the well established minis to the well established senior men's team. They are working hard to fill the gaps between with U11, 12, 13, 14 and 16's, they apparently have some u18's also. They have started a women's section this year as well. Whilst from the outside the club house looks tatty the machinery under its skin is working really hard to provide a good rugby experience for those who are involved with the club. They have secured funding to update the facilities and this project is due to start once the current season finishes. Staff are welcoming and knowledgable about thief sport. They work in conjunction with the governing body of rugby to ensure they give the players the best possible opportunity.
