May 28, 2026 I give…read moreK9 Hydrotherapy my highest recommendation. My beagle, Dipper, underwent extracapsular repair surgery in January 2026. Dr. Phillips of Philip's Veterinary Hospital in Brenham recommended that she lose 7 lbs and begin hydrotherapy. Despite having a clean bill of health, she was still favoring her leg and showed a psychological reluctance to put her paw down. Beagles are notoriously stubborn, and rebuilding her confidence to fully use the leg was the bigger challenge. With that guidance and glowing reviews from neighbors, I chose K9 Hydrotherapy with confidence. We were fortunate to move up the waiting list and begin hydrotherapy just two weeks post-op. Through underwater treadmill sessions, swimming, hydrotherapy, and laser therapy, Dipper rebuilt her strength and confidence. K9 made it happen. Now, more than four months after surgery, she is down to a healthy 31 lbs and moves beautifully. The staff is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in their patients' progress. We look forward to returning for endurance and fitness training when K9 opens its second location. Five stars, without reservation. https://k9hydrotherapyusa.com/

If your dog or cat has a need for rehab (pre/post surgery, arthritis, obesity, pain management, etc), this is the place to make it happen! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and they really are passionate about what they do. They are also great at educating the pet owner about additional exercises that help after therapy sessions. They have an underwater treadmill, a huge pool and a hydro spa for the animals to enjoy. They also do laser therapy. My dog enjoys the experience so much that there is no awareness that a workout is taking place! :) :) :)

NIGHTMARE!!! On only my second visit for my dog to get…read morechiropractic care, we were put in a room for 45 MINUTES and just left there. The best part is that they didn't even know we were there! My poor dog who is old and sickly was very stressed in that tiny room for so long. When Dr Walsh came in for treatment she actually said to me, "So, what are we doing today?" WHAT??!!? I was there less than a week ago! Doesn't she look over her schedule in the morning? Doesn't she plan and prepare for her day? HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND VERY STRESSFUL FOR MYSELF AND MY DOG! They - the entire office - treated me, not only that I wasn't there in their building, but as though I didn't exist. At all. I bawled all the way home and most of the rest of the day. Although Dr Walsh did apologize, she didn't call to talk about this - just didn't care. I simply no longer existed, the end. And, neither did my fur-baby. I did, however, have the pleasure of paying $100+ for the outrageous experience. I am an hourly employee and sitting in a room for 45 minutes means I am not working and not earning an income to pay for horrendous treatment by this place. I am still VERY UPSET whenever I think about it. ARE YOU NEXT?? Maybe. Probably.

When I requested my dogs' medical records so they could receive treatment for an active issue, the conversation quickly became focused on "personal responsibility" and payment, even after I explained that I intended to pay the balance and simply needed to prioritize getting my dogs treated first. I was not refusing payment. I was trying to take care of my animals. At one point, the interaction became tense, and I expressed frustration. Recognizing that, I asked to move communication into writing so everything could remain clear and documented. Despite that request, I received multiple calls and texts asking me to continue the conversation by phone rather than responding in writing. That felt inappropriate. When a client requests to communicate in writing, especially in a situation involving access to medical records, that boundary should be respected. More concerning, access to my pets' medical records appeared to be tied to payment in a way that created a barrier to timely care. Whether intended or not, it left me feeling pressured to resolve a financial issue immediately before I could ensure my dogs received treatment. Due to delays in receiving complete records, I incurred additional out-of-pocket costs at another clinic in order to proceed with necessary care. I had previously respected this clinic and the veterinarians here, which is why this experience was so jarring. I hope there is serious reflection on how these situations are handled moving forward, both in terms of policy and how clients are communicated with during stressful circumstances. No one trying to get care for their animals should leave feeling judged or pressured during that process.

They are nice here and treat our dog with care, but the rehab and rehab consultations are pricey…read more It was $185 for an appointment where they just took measurements of my dog (they did, however, give a complimentary laser treatment to my dog). The total cost of hydrotherapy is around $1500 for 12 30-minute sessions. I think that's rather high. For people who can afford to spare no expense, I'm sure this is nice. Just wish there were other lower cost options for my dog.
