I was looking for a local accountant and was EXTREMELY disappointed. The accountant I spoke with was more concerned with how someone like me could own a business and have a healthy profit margin. By her mannerisms, she honest thought that since I am black, I had to be a drug dealer. The fact that I am a member of the local chamber of commerce, have an office in town and have employees made it more difficult for her to understand. It was truly amusing watching her trying to come to grips with my prepared financial statement and also trying to understand what is a telemarketing company (thats right, did not know what a telemarketing company was). I understand it is a small town of 3K but at her age, she has clearly never been outside her very rural universe. In the end, I had to go to Wausau (36 miles away) to find a competent accountant that suited my needs and understood me and my industry. read more

Worst customer service from a "professional" I have ever experienced. Jason Reis obviously thinks that he is God's gift to the world and that he sits upon a throne above us mere mortals. Took my business accounting to his office and had many communications problems with him. Impossible to reach via phone if I had a question or concern. Was often told that he was busy and that I could "make an appointment and he would answer any questions". Have heard that his mantra is that doctors don't see you for free so why should he. Changed to another local accountant who was substantially cheaper for the same quoted services PLUS I get great communication and advice. Another big tell as far as I am concerned is the constant turn around in his office staff. It has always been my experience that staff will not stay if they are not treated well (and respectfully) by their boss. Definitely do NOT recommend this agency. read more
