The hotel is small but really beautiful. We stayed in one of the suites with a balcony, and it was like having a beautiful little apartment during our stay. Marco Sommer and the rest of the staff are very helpful and attentive. The rooms are all first class and the hotel is convent to the train station when arriving on the Regio trains or taking the Molli train up to the Ostsee towns.
The morning breakfast is excellent and you can special order eggs, lox and all sorts of German breads and cold cuts. It was easily the best "bed and breakfast" place I have every stayed in Germany and perhaps anywhere.
We plan to come back in a few years for Zappanale and will be returning to Villa Sommer again.
