This is an Agriturismo , meaning that it was a converted rural farm. It is very well modernized and comfortable. We were greeted by our host Silvia, who is friendly and helpful, our apartment had two rooms, one with the kitchenette and sofa bed, the other with a queen size bed and an adjacent bathroom (only shower, no tub). Breakfast is available for an addition 8 euros/person. There is no restaurant. The grounds are huge and well maintained, include large lawns, a pond, picnic areas, a great tree-house, and a brand new beautiful swimming pool with ample chaises and shade umbrellas for maximum relaxation. For shopping there is a nearby mall "La Grande Mela" that has great shops including a Rosetto supermarket. Sona is a small town with a few restaurants. La Valle is close to the Venice-Milan Autostrada (no traffic noise), and the railroad (some faint train sound). La Valle is also close to Lake Garda.

They keep this place immaculate and stocked with breakfast goodies. We couldn't get enough of the Italian style moka pot that we just had to purchase and bring home. Coffee never tasted so divine! Location is ideal as La Rotonda and Al Nani are in walking distance, as is Monte Berico. Running path out back is a perfect access point to so many charming points of interest. Surrounding neighborhood has a great market with amazing cheeses and cured meats (I miss my speck!). Also a couple of bars, pastry shop and a spaghettaria just a hop away. Perfect spot for day trips and a place to call home while exploring. UNESCO part is a 20 minute walk away and extremely simple to navigate. Rooms have their separate, private baths and shares a common kitchen area as an apartment. Ours had a great terrace we spent a lot of time having breakfast, or afternoon wine and cheese. Looking forward to returning to Vicenza and using this again as a launch point to more of northern Italy. Applausi per la vita!

There is a market down the road where we purchased cheese, snacks, wine on top of the plentiful breakfast items and coffee, tea, etc. that were stocked by host. Plenty of good places to eat within walking distance. Bob and Jenny could not have been better hosts. We felt at home but even better we felt submerged in Italian culture so close to town in Vicenza. They even have a service for travel to and from train / airport. I can't say enough about our amazing stay. This is a great home base if you are considering travel to Venice, Verona, Florence and Pisa.

Giacomo and Marianna , the owners of this Bed & Breakfast, made us feel like family. They made sure that we had a exceptional stay here. Four days of R&R that my wife and I truly deserved. Living in California is a blessing, but once in a while one must escape and enjoy an experienced that is memorable and makes you want to return. San Felice del Benaco is not on the American radar. The people that stay in the surrounding places and dine in the local restaurants are from Holland and Germany. Of course Italians from the large cities, like Milano, do come to Garda Lake to escape the sounds of the city to the sound of birds singing.
