They hired my company to do cleaning of moved out apartments. We do 2 cleanings and were paid fine. The last cleaning came from them and not the owner and when it came time to pay my company for 2 full days worth of cleaning for a team of 2 they refused to pay the full amount. They dropped a check of in the night while I was asleep that was 400 dollars less than what was owed and refuses to communicate with me now or pay the rest of the money. They were made aware and updated the whole process on how bad the place was and how much work it would take and how long. They approved the time then when receiving the bill stated they didnt feel they should have to pay it because they didnt want to pay that much and then didnt pay. I lived there with them as my property managers for almost 5 years. Suzanne Rauterkus claims to be an understanding/lenient person but is not. She give nothing but the nastiest of attitudes and acts like you owe her the world. I had a stellar payment history up until this past year. They knew when I re-signed my lease agreement that I was only doing it because I had no choice. I had already had some problems with the property but trying to be a patient and understanding tenant i let promptness slide as they have other properties. I went almost a year with a hole that they knew of in my kitchen ceiling with a leaking bath tub. One of my roommates broke a window I reported it when I left it was still broken. I reported a leaking bathroom door frame due to heavy torrential rain they said thank you and did nothing everytime it rained the bathroom flooded. I had a tree fall due to being struck by lightning they told me they were not responsible. They failed to trim the tree in 5 years. It totaled my truck they tell to me call my renters insurance. News flash renters insurance doesn't cover falling tree limbs. We went to mediation because I got behind on my rent due to hardship and was still trying to get my rent paid. I got put out in the middle of the winter during a cold snap. She had no heart. If I were you I would save yourself the headache and find another place to rent from. The want ridiculous things if you get evicted for a stipulation dismissal in had to have my property move in ready after almost 5 years of living there, and I had to do it in 10 days. I couldn't even get 2 checks under my belt. We were expected to do all of the lawn maintenance because our neighbors never did any of it and when we didn't touch it and complained we were in the wrong. So you cant win with her. I won't slander her name or her person but I will say she is not a nice or a pleasant person to work with. She will have her office assist go out to the property and text you to nit pick. Just to get under your skin. She did it to me. Very unresponsive company to rent from. Parking lot never gets plowed or shoveled even though it is in our lease agreement. Squirrels had gotten in the walls and they took forever to get maintenance out to the property. Highly do not recommend renting from them. read more

Rented from them for 3 years. The most slimy company i've ever seen. Dawn refused to pick up our rent check from Post Office and then had the audacity to charge late fees on rent that wasn't late. In process of moving they cut our water off (against the law) because they are just a disgusting and a dirty company. They also threw away a package that was sent to my address 2 days after moving and returning keys. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. HORRIBLE and complete LIARS. read more

Extremely unresponsive. We had two break-ins and it took her over a month to get our locks changed after the first one happened, and said she was out of the country. We had mice about a month and a half into the lease and again a few months later. It took many, many texts and maintenance requests to finally get someone out to place traps and boxes, in which she sent her teenage son. Had mice come in July and not get traps until September and November. Needed to return keys before 5pm at end of lease, showed up hours earlier to the office door locked and no one there. The voicemail box was full, and after multiple calls, received a rude and snarky response. Still charged us for cleaning at end of lease when it was absolutely filthy on arrival at beginning of lease. Do better! We just want to feel safe and comfortable in the place we pay to live in. read more

They are the worst company to rent from. I am so glad it has to come to and end. They half way reply to your calls and text. Maintenance shows up when they want and half fix stuff. They are racist, I was told when I moved I could use certain areas then all of a sudden I couldn't. It flooded in the whole area I was in and they claim it was from someone leaving a water hose on. They put 3 blowers in the area and left didn't put one on where my stuff was but only in areas to dry their dirty carpet that hadn't been clean or nothing prior to showing. They don't know how to run business and have no communication skills. I wouldn't refer anyone to them for personal or business rental properties. They didn't even wet vac the floor after all that water leaked thru. read more

Do not rent from them!! ReLax Property is run unethically, so do not expect to receive your full security deposit back. As stated in other comments, the customer service is very very poor. When they are questioned they freeze up and do not provide credible answers to complaints. They are another rental company that will do whatever it takes to charge you fees. Stay away! read more

Tried to see a few properties and was left waiting at one showing for 30 minutes just for the realtor to not show up. We set up another time during the following week to show the house. I was canceled on after taking work off and told that I would definitely get to see the house next week and that her schedule would be cleared. Surprise surprise that when the next week comes around, after I had filled out the application, I was told the property had been taken. This women seems to be the only one working here and doesn't understand how to run a business that relies on customer service. Never rent from them! read more
