I've dealt with many law firms, and by far had the best experience with Relevant Law. They offered tremendous value, and I often received updates and personal conversations, it was never charged for a relationship. I would absolutely highly recommend them. I've seen the hidden reviews, and they are in line with my experience. For whatever reason, there's no way that the reviews that are showing the one stars, or either actual clients, or definitely something that I have not seen both with their staff members, and with how they treat others. This law firm would take all your money they charge for everything $.81 for a postal stamp. Charge me $25 to call me to help me come in sign papers. They will milk you dry. Uncontested divorce wound up cost me almost $5000. Wish I had better research before I got involved with this law firm, I know now,never again I use this law firm .I do not recommend this firm. They are crooks - they take your money - give the job to an incompetent first year attorney and say sorry when you lose!!

A money hungry business from the start.. they are unclear about the prices up front, and the lawyers are about as unfriendly as can be

A scourge on the community. They spent thousands of dollars on pointless phone calls and emails trying to settle when I wanted to go to court. Told me my case was good. But over 18 months every time they call me I have to reexplain my whole case because they forgot all the details...which they also bill you for. Out about 4000$ for $0 legal action. Kept trying to settle after they were explicitly told to no longer deal with the other side. Even did a quid pro quo of an additional $1,500 to purchase a document from them they said I needed to go to court instead they spent it on more phone calls and settlement attempts. Reported them to the bar. I'll probably have to sue to ever see any of the frivolous documents they prepared. read more

I would give this company 0 stars if possible. Very unresponsive when you call or email them for assistance to a question but will hound the living daylights out of you if your account falls below a $2,000 balance. Yes, you read that correctly, $2,000. They cease to work on your case unless there is $2K just sitting in your account. They will also deduct funds from your checking account without asking you if you fall below the $2K. This happened 3 times while I was a client. I ended up obtaining a different lawyer at a different firm because the last thing I need on top of the stress of court is a 20 year old receptionist hounding me for $200 when they are sitting on $1800 of my money already. Ridiculous! Go elsewhere, not worth it at all! Plus, my lawyer was just plain stupid. Didn't know the basics and couldn't offer up any legal advice because she didn't know it. My husband and I are from Tennessee and were seeking counsel for an attorney in Virginia to help us get custody of his son from the Dss of Campbell County. We called multiple offices and no one was available to speak to us. We called Relevant Law and got to speak to the owner, Mark Bold. We didn't have all the money up front for the retainer and they worked with us on getting them paid. They have a unique approach to handling cases. Everyone in the office is familiar with all the cases. So, at anytime you can call and speak to anyone on the staff about your case. Mark Bold is in a league of his own. He actually gives the clients his personal cell phone number in case they need to speak to him. I have hired several attorneys over the years and have never had an attorney give me his cell number and say call me anytime. They do a lot of behind the scenes work that a client doesn't see a bill for. I CAN'T say enough about Mark and his law firm. read more
