Terrible service. Customers be advised: This taxi service has horrible customer service and will charge an arm and a leg for transportation. You won't pay from /your/ point A to point B. You will pay for the driver's mileage from wherever they come from. There's no meter inside the cabs. There's no boss and their customer service won't allow for you to speak with any kind of boss or supervisor. Beware! This cab company used to come and get me every Friday or on a Saturday nite cause that's the only nites I get to go out and my mom watches my son for me but here recently they have not been comming to get me this past Friday they said they had no cabs available and before that weekend I even called three hours ahead of time another time and they said yes they would be there but never showed up since why is it ok that the cab company can treat u like shit I've always paid them but they don't want to come to Erwin to get me JC isn't but 15mins away and I depend on them cause I don't drive a car I would really like to know who owns reliable taxie and I haven't ever done anything to deserve to be treated like that I really want to talk to the owner cause it's just not right it's not very professional I got ready and sit the whole nite waiting on them to come get me and they never did read more

Prompt and reasonable. Called to inquire about rates. Was told $9.00 to pick me up and another $5 to bring me back for a total of $14.00. Driver pulled up shortly after my call. The gentleman driver was very friendly. Would recommend Reliable Taxi over the other taxi service company, in this city, any day. read more

The only reason this cab company stays in business is because 1: there are only 2 cab companies in the whole city and 2: They tend to be the cheaper of the 2. However, their cab drivers can be extremely unprofessional. These old ass drivers constantly complain about not wanting to take cards and get mad at the customers when the boss won't answer the phone. Maybe the company needs to equip their drivers with card capabilities or completely do away with that to begin with so the drivers won't take it out on passengers and passengers that pay with cards know to choose another cab company. On top of that the company doesn't come when they say they do. They take their time when arriving to their destinations and often times arrive late or not at all. The cabs smell. Used Reliable Taxi for the first time, yesterday. I was able to get a rate over the phone before I made my reservation, which was good. I thought that the price was quite reasonable. About a week ago, I called this company to pick up my daughter at a friend's house. The price quoted was $15. My eighteen year old daughter had the money on her plus her debit card. The driver was supposed to take her over to her Nana's.She sat in the front As the driver said the doors in the van were broken As soon as she got in the car, there was a problem. She said the driver blew through a stop sign and cursed the other driver by saying "f--ing nig-ers can't drive." She said he drove like a maniac. Scared her to death. Price when she got to her Nana's was four dollars more. She asked if the driver " dennis" if he would take a debit card and he grabbed her thigh and said had rather take it out on trade. My daughter said she fell out of the van to get away from him and ran to the porch to ask her Nana for the three extra dollars while the driver was walking up the steps yelling Hey, you owe me. She threw the money at him and he left. She didn't say anything to her Nana and was afraid to say anything to me until a week later. I called this company about five times before I got an answer and talked to "michelle" who said that...wait for it " yeah that sounds like "dennis". He's a pervert" No apology. Nothing. When I asked to speak to someone higher she said she was the highest and just to request for him not to be sent next time. Was told the owner was busy and I couldn't speak to him then she told me next time my daughter should sit in the backseat. read more
