I love the reminder; we have been getting it for 40+ years. It's really the best place to get all of your local news and stories from all of our surrounding towns, not to mention all the sales and coupons included. All for free! What more could you ask for? I really don't understand all of the negativity, if anything at all it provides a little bit of exercise to bend over to pick it up. It actually takes more energy to sit down and complain about it. It seems that there is a growing population of negative people in our society that really need to turn the other cheek. Maybe then if more people became positive and more friendly then our society would be a better and safer place to live! I was brought up to believe that if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all, and, children should be seen and not heard! My wife and I have always liked receiving the Reminder because it has interesting articles and valuable money saving ads. But my wife has recently started solving the crossword puzzle which I have enjoyed. Because of this conflict, I would have to remember to pick up a copy for myself at The Senior Center. Then it occurred to me to ask that an extra copy be delivered to our home . The Reminder is delivered weekly to my house. It is unwanted and I have tried at least three times to make it stop. The delivery stops for several months and then starts again. It is a small local newspaper which some may find helpful but to me it is no more than trash being thrown into my yard in a plastic bag. I fail to understand why it is so hard for the circulation department to make sure that I don't receive something I didn't ask for and don't want. They do not cater to customers based on needs. The magazines came out and the letters in them were raving about the magazine. The custom letter I spend two to three hours on wasn't included. They're in it to promote the magazine and not you. save your hard-earned money. Terrible approach to business read more

Just like the other reviewer - disturbed to see car driving around our community littering. The guy didn't even bother getting out of the car, just tossed the newspaper out the car window. Plastic bags thrown on lawns, sidewalks, even in the bike lane. We got 2 soaking wet papers in plastic bags, covered in gunk, that we didn't ask for. Tried to give them a courtesy call first to ask them to stop. Mailboxes full, no answer. This is littering. read more
