I have never ever ever had better customer service in my life. I had a remote starter put in. One day later the truck did not start. Matt came to my house to troubleshoot it. We discovered an issue with the truck and not the starter. No charge. Just great service. I found this business based on the good online reviews, but my personal experience was disappointing. I took my car in last week, and Matt installed a remote start and key fob fairly quickly. The process was smooth. However, the next day, the car door started making a weird noise every time I locked it. While my car is 12 years old, I had never encountered this issue before. I sent a video of the issue to Matt but didn't hear back. I then called him, and he immediately blamed the noise on the car's age without even hearing about the specific issue. After I explained the problem, he stated that the issue was unrelated to his work (as expected) and that he didn't need to see the video. I told him that if he wasn't willing to look at the car, I would take it to my mechanic for an opinion. Matt responded by saying, "If your mechanic tells you something else, he's not smart enough. Change your mechanic." In the end, I will likely need to take the car to a mechanic, where they will have to open the car panel to diagnose the problem. This will probably cost me a couple of hundred dollars, which is fine. However, I am more disappointed in how Matt handled the situation. He seemed to try to avoid any responsibility from the very beginning. This was one of those classic situations where you get a good service until you swipe your credit card. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! I had my remote start installed here a little over a year ago. The pricing was more than fair, the process was easy and convenient, and they walked me through how to use my remote start before sending me on my way. They under-promise and TOTALLY over-deliver. This October (a little less than 12 months later), I was having starting issues with my car. I brought the vehicle to the dealership who said they believed the issue to be with the remote start. I brought the car back to Remote Start MN, and the technician discovered the issue was NOT with the remote start but with my starter fuse, which the dealer had not caught. He ended up replacing the fuse, reinstalling my remote start unit, and all for FREE. This place and it's people are the best. read more

Had a Drone (cellphone based) remote starter installed in my new Mazda CX 5 yesterday. They were on time for my appointment, total installation of 2 hours 15 minutes. Comfy lounge with TV, WiFi, Keurig Starbuck's, clean bathroom. After downloading the Drone app Ben walked me through the entire functioning of the Drone app. I think I save nearly $100 compared to another shop that I checked out on line. I had a Compustar Drone and 2-way remote installed at the beginning of August. I have no experience with remote starters and Matt was excellent at talking with me and helping me decide what features I needed/wanted, and what I didn't need. He did not try to over sale. The installation was pretty quick as I was waiting. The waiting room and rest areas are clean and comfortable with TV, coffee, and WiFi. I took a little time to get used to using my remote start before writing a review and everything has worked perfectly. I have had no problems at all and Matt was really good at showing me how everything worked prior to my leaving his store, and I feel very comfortable with the thought that I can call them at any time and they will be more than willing to help me with any questions I have. I was very pleased with the service from start to finish. The website is great and you know what your paying before you get there. There were no surprises I used Yelp reviews to select this service provider and am so glad I did. You rarely find great customer service any more; it seems a thing of the past, but this is the best customer service I have had in a long time and I highly recommend this shop for your remote start needs. These guys are great. I like how the website gives you vehicle specific pricing. I had the Viper 4816V installed Friday and I am very satisfied with the service and the install. The remote start works from inside my office. I was surprised that it did because I work in a large office complex and I'm on the third floor in the center, no windows and several walls between my car and me. Terrible customer service. We switched our starter from one car to another and told it was only going to be $100.00. After they switched the starters and was time to pay, they told us it was going to be $280.00 because of unexpected parts and labor. Then this little bitch named Matt who worked there started to freak out and was yelling like crazy. He tried ripping the starter out of the car when questioned about the price increase.
