Personally wouldn't give them even on star, but you have to or you can't continue with the review. Maybe I can keep someone else from going through the same thing I have !! I've had the absolute worst experience with Casper Rent-A-Center from the first day! Delivered 3 hours late with out notice . However the horrible experience just gets worse. The bedroom set I rented was bran new . The drawers in the dresser stuck were hard to open them they came to try to fix, with not much change . They exchanged some of the drawers . Was a little better . Still not the worst part of my experience, my first months payment was to come directly out of my account on the 5th of the following month didn't come out they then called me very rudely the 6th of March asking why I didn't pay it ? When they're the ones who set up the automatic withdraw in the first place..I found a set somewhere else and scheduled a pick up which they called and rescheduled for a later date, which was 2 days before the next payment was scheduled to come out of my bank account! So they ended up picking up their bedroom set on the 3-3-22 the next payment date for automatic withdraw is scheduled for the 5th of March so prior to pick up I called the store to make sure that payment would not come out of my account. The manager reassured me it would not ! 12:05 am 3-5-22 my payment was withdrawn from my account! I call early that morning talked to manager who reassured me once again that the charge to my account was only a pending charge but would drop off . Which is still causing my account to be negative. So come Monday the 7th I look to make sure what I was told that it would be back in my account, it was not ! So not only is my money not back in my account, but now I have other bills that come out being returned by my bank, and I'm being charged late fees, and NSF charges to my accounts. I call to discuss Monday I'm put on hold and then I'm disconnected with after being placed on hold 20 minutes. Call back go through the whole thing again only to be told that the district manager would call me back sometime in the future ! This business, if that's what you call it is very unorganized, insufficient, and lack good customer service . Would steer clear of them !! read more

Sold us a washing machine that doesn't work for over $1,000 for the set. We knew we would be over charged using a rent a center but figured since we needed a washer ASAP and wouldn't have the money to out right purchase for a couple weeks it would be cheaper than a laundry mat to pay off early with the same as cash price. After getting washer home and hooking it up we noticed the washer would not drain and go to the next cycle. Called them and told them the pump was out and both washer and dryer were dirty even though they claimed it had been cleaned and was less than a year old. Washer had water sitting in it when we unloaded, which rent a center should have noticed when loading it into our truck. We told them due to their shady sales tactics we did not want it repaired just wanted them to come get the set and stop payments (all within 1 business day of purchase) They told us they would be here to get it that Tuesday (purchased on Saturday, call was on Monday morning), they also told us they would not charge our card since we were cancelling the contract. Then they later called us back and said they couldn't come get it until Friday and tried taking payment out Friday morning. Today is Friday and I have not heard back from them about a time they plan on being here. Contact the FTC and BBB if you have had problems with this company! They are scamming people and need to be stopped! read more
