I was told that the tech would get to it and they would call me. 14 days later they called with an estimate for repairs that was 40 dollars more than the amp cost when brand new. I am unable to figure out how they stay in business charging people more than they paid for it new, just for repair. I am also very curious how 2 resistors and 5 small transistors cost 160 dollars. I already found the parts through a large electronics vendor for about 7 bucks a piece. I will not ever do business with them, nor suggest them to any friends, family, or passersby.

Absolutely my LAST choice…read more Over two years ago, I dropped off two tools to be repaired. I never received a call to let me know how things were going, or when the tools would be ready. I began stopping in every few weeks or months for an update. Frequently, whoever was working had no idea who I was, where my tools were, or even where my paperwork was. Finally, after about a year and a half, and a dozen or so visits, one tool was returned. It worked for 10 minutes and then quit again. I took it back to the shop. After almost two years, I just wanted my tools back, fixed or not. I was shined on for several more weeks until one was returned, unrepaired, although they claimed it was fixed. After several more weeks, I consulted with the police, as FCRS seemed unwilling or unable to return the other tool. They only returned the tool after my attorney contacted them twice. Now, two years later, I have one half-repaired tool, and one broken tool, all for the low price of almost $200. Send your tools to Missoula or Billings instead, these guys are incompetent clowns.
