Today we came in and noticed this gentleman,Suro, cleaning and making sure all the equipment is up and running, I've seen him multiple times, checking for safety and maintenance. I feel really comfortable leaving my kids in this playground. I am a fan of this place! Tip: You can bring your own grip socks or pay $5 for a pair. There is plenty of FREE parking.

While there, I observed a couple near the bungalows kissing and groping each other in a children's play area while their kids played nearby. What was most concerning was that staff did not appear to address the situation. I also noticed that many of the employees assigned to the play areas were sitting down and talking among themselves rather than actively monitoring the floor. As a parent, I did not feel comfortable having my children around that type of behavior in a family-oriented environment. Because of this experience, even though we are locals, we have chosen not to continue giving this business our support. I believe closer supervision and more attentive staff presence would help create a safer and more appropriate atmosphere for families. This was our experience and a reply/justification attempt will not change it.

Met a lot of fun interesting people--lots of hard working professional people in production, in makeup and wardrobe. Like a larger studio lot, they have homes, a downtown area, and courthouse for filming. Don't wash your vehicle before coming here, because you will need a car wash afterwards for sure. Once you turn off the 14, it's all dirt for a mile or so and they are required to wet it down during production days to keep the dust from flying around so you will also be driving in some mud that will gunk up your tires and wheel wells. If you have access to PU Truck or Jeep type vehicle--that is best but not required. Everything is dirt here except the actual sets. I had to clean my shoes a couple of times during the day to get the coat of dirt off them and make them shine again. Have on sunscreen if you are shooting outside because there is not a lot of shade. Also there are no services at all off the 14 Exit so plan to get what you need off Interstate 5. Sorry my contract prohibits me from taking photos here--wish I could.

I just completed the "Connecting to Your True Creative Self" workshop at Indigo Equine this…read moreSaturday. I had no idea what to expect when I walked onto the ranch, and I ended up experiencing such an incredible day. 2020 has been a hard year for everyone, and this workshop was exactly what I needed to reground and get back in touch with myself and the world. I felt rejuvenated and refreshed afterwards, and highly recommend signing up for a workshop. We were a group of 3 women with our leader Andi, Horse Safety Manager Lisa, and photographer Jasmine. Master Chef Ed provided morning coffee (strong the way I like it!) and a delicious lunch on an open veranda. We had a full day of visualization and creative exercises lead by Andi. Not having done many workshops in the past, I felt very comfortable and supported by Andi (and everyone else), and I got a lot out of each activity. These exercises were interspersed with on the ground interactions with the Indigo Equine herd (currently numbering at 7 horses, 1 steer and growing). It was incredible meeting all of the herd and interacting with them. They are a motley crew to be sure, and have a lot share with their human interlopers! The day was very full, but we never felt rushed, and it was very relaxing. The ranch is just gorgeous and secluded, but only a 40 minute drive for me from mid-city Los Angeles. It was a great escape, and I left the workshop with useful tools to lean into for my day to day life (not to mention the beautiful journal, water bottle, hand sanitizer and mask that Andi provided at the beginning of the workshop!). All the activities were outside and felt very Covid safe. Everyone was wearing masks and respectful of social distancing (except for the horses!). I highly recommend booking a workshop at Indigo Equine if you are feeling a little ragged from the stresses of today's living. Take a day to let Andi and her team take care of you - you won't regret it!
