I'm leaving comments about the Republic Services Landfill in Saline County, Benton & Bryant area, AR. While the Landfill experience is always great, always clean, for landfill and the scales are operated professionally. What is so disappointing are the hours of operation. As a private residential user of the landfill, its often difficult to get to the landfill during the week, or even late in the afternoon. Weekends are now not an option, the landfill is closed! So just how is a private residence suppose to benefit from our Landfill Coupons from the Recycle Saline program. Just no longer viable for the general public to use unless you take a day off from work! I cant even hire someone, I must be present at the gates when presenting the Landfill Coupon. read more

Republic Services is like the Mafia. Every few months they are trying to raise your rates and charge you extra "fees". All of our neighbors use to have Republic and none of us had the same rate even though we live in the same neighborhood. When I finally cancelled my service I received a final prorated bill of $30 and was told it would be $15 to pick up the can. A month later I got a bill for $45 for the van pick up. Turns out it was $15 plus taxes and fees. If you like ever changing rates, added fees and missed pick up days then this is the service for you. read more

We recently (March 2019) moved to the Benton area from out of state and setup our trash pickup with Republic Services. I've been very impressed with the service because of how easy it was to setup, the great service from the people we've met that either delivered the trash containers and the actual weekly trash pickup. They regularly go above and beyond. The other impressive thing is the clear and timely communication about schedule changes due to holidays or even when there was a problem with the trash truck. I've had someone call me for a survey as part of their continuous improvement process and It really shows in the overall great customer experience. read more
