My sister scheduled her CPR certification class with RESTAT last Thursday for her class to be that following Friday morning. She paid her $60 online, was given directions and class time (8am-11am) online. I drove her over to the classes location, we got there 5 minutes to 8. She gets out, goes to the door, locked. Lights off. No one to be seen inside. We notice another young woman waiting on the sidewalk outside and my sister asked her if she was there for the CPR class, she was. We waited, and waited, and waited. At 8:15, my sister walked to the next business entrance in the same building, and asked the business owner if CPR classes were given there. He explained he had no knowledge of what business was done there and he hadn't seen anyone over there in quite some time. We waited until 8:30, all the while my sister is calling the number on their website over and over, always being sent to a voicemail. She scoured over emails ensuring the time, date, location were correct. I even had her check to make sure it wasn't actually an online class, it wasn't. So, after a half hour I decided to jump on Yelp to see others reviews. More than just a handful of people expressed the SAME.THING.HAPPENED.TO.THEM. Apparently, if the class doesn't fill up, they just don't do the class. Sweet way to get money, I guess. Maybe make that a clause on your website in BIG BOLD RED LETTERS explaining that? Or perhaps contact the enrolled people 12 hrs prior to the class time to explain there will be no class since not enough people signed up? My sister had to call her bank to put a stop payment on her $60 so this "company" wouldn't get her money for services they did not render. Keep away from this "business" at all costs (no pun intended). We felt terrible for the other young lady waiting, she's in nursing school and that Friday was the last day she could get her CPR cert to continue forward in school. Way to screw people. I hope everyone and their grandmother steers clear of this ridiculous excuse for a business. I'd give 0 stars if possible. read more

Cancelled my class twice and both times within the hour before it was supposed to start. I had drove all the way there to find a locked door. Then no one calls you back or emails anything. I left 2 phone messages and 3 emails and not one was returned. Hoping I get my refund sometime. Don't waste your time. Pick another company. read more

This place is a joke. I paid for a service that was not provided. I'm still contacting this place of business for my full refund of $165 for the PALS class that was canceled. I understand that there was an accident that the instructor was involved in that morning but I paid for a service that was not provided. It is only fair that I get my full refund in return. Be aware of paying these people because once you pay you get no response. I've called so any times and no one answers (red flag). They only contact you by email but only on their terms. I am no longer in Colorado but I will be fighting for my $165. This is not how anyone should do business and to treat customers this way. Do the right thing and refund me!!!!!!!!!!! This business decided to go online and sell certification offers to travelers all over the US. I found their deal online and purchased it out of interest. Keep in mind.. it was online to a broad audience, not just CO residents and the company was aware I incurred hundreds more in expenses for airfare ($600+), airbnb ($100+), rental ($130+). The company email me less than 12 hours before the event saying that they had cancelled the class. Claimed they attempted to reach out to me, but could not furnish any proof. Short answer is they waited till last minute to cancel and screwed over someone who was flying out to take their course. Wouldn't admit what they did and threw a BS excuse at me to make it look like it wasn't their fault. The fact that they even could email me and tell me last minute, tells me that their original excuse was flawed and not thought through so well. Do not trust this business. read more

I signed up for ACLS in December and was notified the night before that my class was canceled. My card expired in January and I could not get into another one of Steve's classes before it expired. I signed up with a different site. Steve was terrible about communication via text ,phone calls and email. He did a refund on Paypal which was denied. Similar to other customers I signed up for services not received. I paid $140 for ACLS and PALS. I scheduled my classes and would have to reschedule them due to issues with pregnancy. Every time I was scheduled the instructor would reach out stating the class was cancelled, but for reasons other than my cancelling. I reached out to resat in May 2018 about refunding my money because I wasn't going to be able to take the courses due to being postpartum and my upcoming relocation. I heard from Steve about the issue May 24th and he offered a refund. I responded June 1st, 2018 stating my case and requesting more 75% for ACLS and 50% for PALS. Since his first email I have heard nothing and have emailed every month except September asking for follow up. I originally sought out this company because of a friend. Of course, I did my due diligence and checked out ratings and reviews. I read the negative ones and I took them with a grain of salt. I never thought it would be me too. It appears I'm going to have to report them to the BBB. I will be adding my emails at a later date. read more

I had been dreading renewing my CPR certification and previously had bad luck with other courses in town being continually canceled. I scheduled this one fairly last minute and had a great experience! I highly recommend them and will do all my future trainings through this company. Online Education with Excellent and Knowledgable Staff My girlfriend and I are both nurses in the ED and travel for a living. We found RESAT after both of us needing multiple recertifications this year. There online courses are the same as AHA and easy to use on a home computer. The in person skills checkoff with easy and educational. Steve has been extremely helpful, making sure we get our certs on time! I'll be doing any and all certifications through them! read more

I rarely write reviews to give you the idea of how much I went out of my way to recommend RES&T. Tim was my instructor and he was not only knowledgeable but fun and adjusted to the fact that this was my first time taking a BLS class. Before I got there I was a little nervous if I would just be the dumb one in the class for having no prior training. Not an issue AT ALL. By the end of the class I felt like a learned a ton in a short amount of time, had a handful of laughs, and I feel confident in applying what I learned in the field. Absolutely recommend. read more

I was signed up for ACLS and paid the $165 for the class on July 1st and 2nd. Well the day prior, I received an email that I thankfully saw prior to driving all the way to the location the following morning, stating the class was canceled due to low enrollment. I was offered a few choices, and chose a refund. Well I have now sent THREE emails with no response and no refund!!! I paid on JUNE 7th and it is now JULY 12th!!! My son took two classes with RESAT. There was a mix up in the payment and I was asked to pay again by Steve, until the mixup was corrected by. He said it could take up to 90 days and then he would refund my second payment. 90 days has long gone by; I have tried to contact Steve by email multiple times and he will neither respond nor refund my duplicate payment. I have spoken with both my credit card co and paypal and they both confirmed he was refunded the money, but is refusing to return my duplicate payment. DO NOT work with these people. They trick you into paying twice, then go back on their word! read more

I completed the HeartCode BLS online course and scheduled the skills session through the AHA website. RESAT was the provider of the skills session, which was supposed to take place on August 27 in Bend. I received a confirmation email through the AHA that my training was scheduled, and that Stephen Wolfstich would email with more information on registering and paying. I never received an email from Stephen, so I simply showed up to the course (East Bend Library) on August 27 expecting to pay on-site. When I arrived, no training was taking place. I called the RESAT number and left a voicemail. A few minutes later, I received a text message from the same number that the class had been cancelled because nobody had enrolled. I never received a notice of cancellation. Apparently, I was supposed to register and pay on the RESAT website, but the AHA email did not mention this. The text message promised to comp next month's training in Bend on Sept 24, which I agreed to. The next day, I forwarded the AHA email to RESAT so they were aware that the automated email did not explicitly state to register on the RESAT website. I also asked how to register for the Sept 24 class for free (as promised), since there is no way to register for free on their website. This email was never returned. I subsequently sent 2 more emails, along with several voicemails and text messages, which all went unanswered. Judging from previous reviews, paying on their website and hoping for a refund seemed like a bad idea, so I simply registered again on the AHA website in hopes this training would not be cancelled. I showed up again to the Bend training site on Sept 24, and this time another woman was also there expecting to receive the training. Just like last time, no trainer showed up. I texted the company's number to no response. This time, the woman and I talked to library staff in the meeting room, who seemed to indicate they were not aware of any CPR trainings ever taking place at the library. This made me wonder if this class has ever taken place in Bend, or if this company is running a scam. In addition to writing reviews on Google, Facebook, and Yelp, I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and contacted AHA about my experiences with RESAT as a skills provider. Hopefully these actions will finally get the company's attention. Based on the fact that they have received positive reviews, it's likely they are simply irresponsible and negligent business owners. However, based on my interactions with the library staff, I'm not ruling out that this company is fraudulent and running an elaborate scam. Bottom line: If you live in Bend OR, do not schedule a skills session with this company! read more

SCAM! I registered for a CPR skills test through the AHA website to be completed by RESAT. They cancelled my class and never responded as to when I could reschedule. I ended up finding another wonderful company to do my skills assessment and now I can not get anyone to respond to my request for refund. The email address is deliverable and the website and facebook pages for resat are down. Looks like I will be reaching out to my attorney for next steps. read more

I am not sure if this is a legitimate business or not. I have emailed multiple times and only gotten false promises of processing my return right away. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!! RESAT was supposed to host a skills checkoff session for Advanced Cardiac Life Support course (ACLS) on 01/22/2019 from 6PM to 7:30PM. I was registered to attend the above skills session and paid in full on 12/13/2018 (I have all applicable receipts). I arrived at the listed address provided in the receipt 20 minutes prior to 6PM to find the office listed Suite in the office building empty and no instructors arrived at any point in time. I called the RESAT phone number at 6PM and was met with a voice answering service stating to leave a message. After leaving a message, I received a phone call back from Steve (Owner) who stated he was extremely sorry for the confusion and that he had been informed the class was cancelled but confirmed when checking that yes I was registered, paid, and scheduled to have the course. Steve then stated that he was traveling and would be returning to Denver and call back to reschedule the next day. The next day no call was received by Steve or anyone else with RESAT and upon reaching out to them via phone I was once again met with the answering machine. I left a message stating who I was, the issue, and call back number once again. This process continued over the next several days I would call RESAT leave messages and have no one respond to my calls. I next resorted to reaching out via the companies Facebook page, Instagram page, company email, text messages, and continued phone calls, and left messages continuously. I finally received a text back on 01/26/2019 stating "Apologies for the text, I am not near a phone right now. We are having significant logistic issues and I have processed for you to receive a full refund on this. I'm very sorry for any frustration this has caused." I waited until 02/04/2019 to allow a refund to process before once again attempting to contact RESAT via both phone calls, voice messages, and text messages. I received a text back stating "Good morning, thank you for reaching out regarding this. I know that several refunds for our customers are pending currently. I will look to see what the timeline is lie as, I agree, you should have it by now. I will get back with you here with more information very shortly." On 02/05/2019 I attempted to reach out to RESAT once again having not received any more information regarding a refund timeline via texts, phone calls, and voice messages only to be met with no response. Once again I repeated these attempts to reach out to RESAT on 02/06-02/08/2019 before finally receiving a text on 02/08/2019 stating "Good Afternoon, I am unsure if any emails are going through as it still seems to be an issue with our server and online status. We have regrettably have had to, after four years, begin our process of closing our doors. Due to financial, logistical, and other circumstance, we have chosen to cease all business and issue refunds to all existing customers. If you are owed a refund and have not yet received it, please understand that it is our greatest goal to accommodate and refund all of our clients and customers as soon as we are financially able to. In the next week or two weeks, we expect all refunds to be paid out and all customers to be properly communicated with. I am very sorry in having to use this mixed form of communication and understand any an all frustration." All texts, emails, phone calls, and voice messages after this 02/08/2019 date have been met with absolutely zero response from anyone at RESAT to include coming to pick up the refund in person in order to facilitate being as EASY as possible to refund my money. This is such an utter failure to provide a service, response, and refund that I have NEVER come across such a lack of disregard for customer service!!! I am so frustrated with this establishment. I signed up a month ago for a class, making clear that this class was vital to my new job. They immediately charged me for the class, only to cancel it. I rescheduled, and the owner "gave me his word" that this next one would not be cancelled. It absolutely was cancelled, again with very little notice.
