Great location, right on the sand overlooking the ocean. The hotel was very clean, modern with a friendly staff. You are always greeted with a good morning or have a nice day. Our room was spectacular with a full ocean view, sunrise over the ocean. The rooms are large with a full kitchen, large fridge, glasses, dishes, cooking utensils, coffee maker, dish soap, dishwasher soap and dish towels. A great place to stay, away from the very popular tourist crowded hotels but close enough to get to the boardwalk, shopping and eating areas. The staff were very good and recommending nice places to eat and for me, nice places to get in a round of golf. The morning breakfast was pretty basic, just like a provided breakfast at most nicer hotels. The two girls working the breakfast worked really hard at keeping it clean and well stocked with the provided items. The bar and restaurant area provided a great view of the ocean while enjoying a cocktail or appetizer. Parking was easy, they have a large parking garage that always seemed to have plenty of room to get in and out. If we ever came back to Myrtle Beach, I would not hesitate to stay here again. read more

I would like to file a complaint regarding the restaurant service at 2605 S Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. My friend and I arrived at approximately 8:30 p.m., while the restaurant's posted closing time was 9:00 p.m. We were given menus from the bar, our table was cleaned, and we were seated. Based on these actions, we reasonably believed we would be served. After waiting for about 20 minutes without anyone greeting us or taking our order, my friend went to the bar to place our order. We were then told they were no longer accepting food orders. At no point did anyone inform us that the kitchen had stopped taking orders or that we needed to order immediately upon arrival. To make matters worse, we observed other customers placing food orders after we had already been seated and waiting. If the kitchen stops taking orders before the restaurant closes, that policy should be clearly communicated to guests upon arrival. Instead, we were left sitting and waiting with no communication, only to be told we could not order after losing valuable time. This experience was disappointing and reflected poor customer service. I hope this matter is reviewed and that staff receive additional training on communicating with guests so others do not have the same experience. read more

My room was an ocean view room and it was okay. The room itself was a bit dated. I did like the shower because it was walk-in. The parking situation is just weird. You have to take an elevator to the reception or 2nd floor and then leave the elevator to go to another elevator to get to your room. They don't have a meeting space, but they do have a lot of comfortable areas on the 2nd floor to socialize/work. The bed wasn't very comfortable. It's not a bad place to say and definitely one the better places in Myrtle. But, it's just average. read more

If I could give this any less I would. We arrived at the hotel at 10 pm after driving all day. We entered our room it smelled sour. We went back to the front desk and they moved us. We immediately showered and jumped in bed. Wasn't thinking we had to check the sheets first. Middle of the night felt like I was sleeping on sandpaper. I went to the bathroom and noticed my hip was coated in this dusty white stuff. I turned all the lights on and noticed there was a red stain on the bed with these black little stone the things. We got dressed and went to the front desk. Assured we would have a thoroughly cleaned room. It's now 12:45 and hasn't been touched. There's greasy human outlines on the headboard. I'd expect this from motel 6 but not from residence inn. It's beyond gross. View is great. Location is great. Cleanliness has a lot to be desired. Next time we'll select a hotel that's cleaner & has higher standards for sure. read more

We tried this place again and as I've said before, for pets they are fabulous. The rooms are starting to age and look a little tired. While the room was clean, it appears to need some TLC especially in the bathrooms. The open shower splatters water everywhere and I despise a wet bathroom floor. The breakfast is very average but it's free. The staff during breakfast need a little coaching on guest service and friendliness. Walking up to guests telling them to throw away their waffle batter cups was a little much. Not everyone saw the little trash can to put those in. Kindness matters. As I watched people treated poorly, it was upsetting. The mobile room key never worked and the front desk couldn't figure it out. That's annoying. A few things could really help this spot. Great location if you can look past a few things. P.S. not everyone cleans up after their dogs so watch your step. They really should have someone clean up for the guests that don't. I normally don't write reviews, but my experience here was so unacceptable that it needs to be shared. I had a confirmed reservation for a King 1-Bedroom Suite, even checked in with the mobile key at 4:38 PM. When I went to the front desk to get physical keys, they handed me keys to room 1311. To my shock, the room was already occupied by another family who happened to have the same last name, but a completely different first name. This is a serious security issue--my card was on file, and someone else was essentially given access to my reservation and room. Instead of correcting the mistake and honoring the suite I reserved, the hotel downgraded me to a Queen Studio. Later, when I returned, I found that staff had removed my belongings and thrown away $80-$100 worth of food I had purchased. When I asked to speak with the manager, James Voss, he was extremely rude and unprofessional, showing no concern for the security breach or the mishandling of my property. Also noted he states he doesn't want my sort of people there anyways. To make matters worse, the situation was handled as if every guest with the last name "Hernandez" is the same person. That kind of careless assumption is not only negligent but insulting. I've been a loyal Gold member for years, and this was by far the worst treatment I've ever received at any hotel. No guest should ever have to deal with having their confirmed room given away, their belongings discarded, and their concerns dismissed so rudely. read more

October 11 2025 we stayed here and left after one night. The mattress was the worst. The shower had a little mold. The lobby carpets all had stains on them, that was probably a sign we should have never stayed here. The lobby chairs had stains on them. Definitely needs some work on this place. So I am ranking this place as the worst Marriott we have stayed at. read more

Chose because - dog friendly/oceanfront/marriott. Better than expected! Direct access to beach/pool/dog potty area from elevator. Only spent an overnight there (passing thru)with beach time in am for the doggo. Oceanfront provided prime time bird/people watching for George while I worked. Floors were perfect /room spacious enough. There is an awesome 14acre dog park close by also. Garage tip- 8ft high thru 3 floors then 7ft..I was cringing driving bronco on higher floors due to tire size/lift/roof rack. Breakfast-meh. Luckily I can deal with coffee. Do not choose this location for that. Plenty of local bakeries/restaurants close by. I'd venture back here. read more

Tip: Come mid Nov during off season weather permitting because it's empty, costs are reduced significantly and you can have a beachfront spot with a full hot breakfast and parking included! Great deal. Service was good at the bar, and food served until 10pm, but the reception desk lacked congeniality lol. Rooms are very clean and have all you need. Get the oceanfront balcony and fall asleep to the ocean sound. Priceless They provide free bikes, have a heated and not heated pool and a nice gym. read more

Overall thoroughly enjoyed my stay at residence inn Myrtle beach, had a king suite ocean view room which was very clean and neat. The bed was uncomfortable but all the other amenities made up for it. On to driftwood bar & grill 5 stars Stacy is an awesome bar tender who effortlessly serves her patrons, not to mention the kitchen staff killing every dish I've tried! I would recommend the bar/restaurant to anyone who's coming in to Myrtle beach regardless of staying at the hotel read more

October 2020 - COVID Review: My husband and I recently got married in a micro ceremony in September and decided to do a mini honeymoon by visiting Myrtle Beach for the first time. We're Marriott members so we picked this hotel because it was one of the only ones from the chain that actually had an oceanfront. The amenities were nice and we loved the views of the ocean from the lobby and from our room. We were advised ahead of time that there would be a $15/day amenity fee added to our bill, which includes parking in the garage. Some nights the garage would get pretty full and you would have to park on a higher level but nothing that was a huge inconvenience. We would definitely choose to stay here again the next time we visit the area. read more

First of all Joe May the manager is awful. We stayed here and had to beg for towels and trash takeout. You should never represent Marriott Hotels. We were told that our room would be cleaned between 11-4 came back from site seeing and no towels and thrash still in room. Mr.May was very dismissive toward me and condensing. I would never have acted the way he did. Marriott was contacted of this complaint and I hope they make this right not just for me but for others that will stay here. Joe May should not be working here. If you can't handle complaints and know how to defused any situation then you should never be a manager. Get another job and move on!!! read more

This hotel is a franchise NOT a Marriott owned property and it shows all the way through the experience . It's not clean! Nobody wants is accountable to keep it clean and their service is abysmal! And when you express your concerns they don't listen and nobody really cares! That's the issue mgmt here cares more about themselves and their poor work ethic than the customer experience ! This is how we checked in at 10:30 at night... the MOD- Carter, was extremely rude to my husband and I.. because apparently I was acting to "entitled" because i have a medical condition that prevents me from going in elevators.. so their rooms start on the third floor but I was out on the 7th even with a phone call at noon the day off and extensive notes in our profile. Carter told my husband that if he were his son he would feel sorry about his life and that his girlfriend (meaning me- his wife) should know my place. On top of it, when we shared about the dirty room he began to tell us that we should just call around and go somewhere else. He used words to address my husband as "boy" "kid" "mother fucker" "kid" and "entitled" I cannot begin to express my disgrace and down right disgust. We are now at 11:22 pm searching around for a place to take us because our room is disgusting.. and the lack of safety and comfort from this establishment has me beyond words.. We plan to pursue this situation further. I pray no one else will openly spend 764 a night to deserve this type of treatment. We used 50,000 hotel Points and the level of service and cleanliness of this hotel I would give a solid 0 star if possible... On top of that- the FISH odor is extremely pungent!! We stayed only one night. We brought our dog. We were charged 350.00 for the room and 150.00 for the dog. I can understand a pet deposit but this was an additional charge. I got over that and then we checked in to this non-smoking hotel and had to endure the overwhelming smell of marijuana on our floor. Our room had a smoke haze in it. Tried to turn the AC up to vent it some but the temperature never got comfortable. We got up at 5 am and left. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Ocean front king suits are stunning! The view is the star by far. The room was clean and nice kitchenette to use. The pool was cold any time of the day and is shallow 3-4ft (great for kids and a dip after the ocean) There was no complimentary breakfast except a a to go bag because of COVID. Also, there are no mandatory mask signs inside the lobby or signs encouraging people to use elevator with their family or limit persons. Please wear a mask! The biggest issue is the shower!! DO NOT stay here. I tried to do something nice for my ageing parents and booked a stay. I called to simply move the dates from Thursday to Saturday to Friday to Sunday. I have emails showing that this change was made. However, the hotel charged me for 3 nights, even though my parents only stayed 2 nights and my reservation only showed 2 nights. They refuse to reimburse me, a longtime Marriott Bonvoy member, for the night that was not reserved or used. Bad customer service = lost customer. read more

Warning, this is long and detailed. We booked via Hotel.com since it saved a little money for this Thanksgiving weekend trip. We stayed from Wed before Thanksgiving to that Sunday. The hotel has no traditional front entrance, you have to drive into the parking garage and follow the signs to the first floor where the lobby entrance is located. At the lobby entrance, they have limited time parking for loading and unloading your vehicle. Guests can park anywhere else in the garage with a provided parking pass. For those that complained before, please note ocean view is different from oceanfront. If you can see the ocean from your room, it's considered oceanview. If you want a full-on view from your window, book an oceanfront and you'll be on the side with nothing but an ocean view (with no buildings). With regards to the amenity fee, almost every hotel I checked in that area has an amenity fee, so don't be shocked when this pops up. It's used to pay for parking, bikes, towels, etc. Apparently, this is a thing in this town and I've seen some as high as $25, so $15 wasn't that bad in my opinion. Check-in went really well. We arrived early evening, so it wasn't busy at the desk. We got our keys pretty quick. They provided us with a couple of bottles of water, a concierge ticket for a free gift, and a little card with a list of amenities. A warning, you may be subjected to a timeshare spiel if you go for the free gift at the concierge desk. The gift was a choice of a photo book (i.e. Shutterfly or a couple of tickets to mini-golf). We took the golf and unfortunately sat through the guy trying to get us to go on this hotel tour, we declined that. They get a commission apparently if you say yes and go on the tour and of course they give you a gift card for your trouble. They offered us $150 gift card, but we still declined. The room is what I come to expect from Marriott. Which is why I choose Marriott hotels. It was nicely decorated, clean and felt really warm and homey. I miss the cloth sofa; the leather version is a bit cold to sit on but easier to clean I'm sure. The balcony furniture, was really nice and very comfortable, which I loved. I'm always happy when every chair is comfortable enough to accommodate my larger size, and the stools and the outdoor furniture did exactly that. The balcony was completely private as well. We couldn't see anyone on any sides of us. The flooring was really lovely and made the room seemed very warm when you walk in. The bathroom body-wash smelled really good without being overwhelming. And the kitchen was nicely appointed with good dishes & silverware. The bathroom was spacious but my only grip is the half door, well it's not a door, just a half shower wall (see pics). I didn't care for that part. We didn't experience any water everywhere, but that's only because I had to tilt the shower head all the way down. If you're short, reaching the shower head could pose a challenge, I barely reached it. They provide refillable body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. I only used the body wash, which was a lemon-sage scent. It was nice and refreshing without being overpowering. I pumped a little of the conditioner in my hand and it was something with tea tree oil in it. It smelled pretty strong to me though. The kitchen area has a two-burner stove, no oven, a dishwasher, full size fridge with freezer and plenty of good dishes, silverware and glassware (including wine glasses). I used everything and set the dishwasher the day we checked out. The pots and pans are on the level of Farberware, so there's no non-stick going on. They offer a pretty good free breakfast as well. The hot items, were eggs (likely liquid or powdered, but still good), sausage patties, chicken sausage links, oatmeal and make-your-own waffles. The waffle iron has 4 mini Belgian waffles instead of one big one. It's easy to make the amount you want. There's a lot of waffle irons too, to help alleviate back up. There were also tortillas, cheese, spinach and salsa if you wanted a breakfast burrito. Lots of toast and juice options. Also, yogurt, boiled eggs, cheese wedges, butter, jam, and cream cheese. The attendants kept the area very clean and were super nice and helpful. My only gripe is the TV. I don't know if this was set in everyone's room but ours was set to go off automatically. I understand why it's set to go off after a certain number of hours, but the problem is when you get the warning to press the OK button to keep the TV on doesn't work. And we had to either let the tv go off or turn it off and have it basically reboot; which interrupted the program and movies we were watching. Overall the hotel is beautiful. It has amazing views from the lobby and our room (1402). The staff were super nice and we had a great time. It's dog friendly and I'm happy to say we didn't hear any barking while we were there. *December 2020 visit* Everything about this hotel is beautiful! The staff were really nice, especially the first staff member that greeted us, he had a light conversation with us and that goes a long way in my book. The next night's staff were decent. They didn't go above and beyond but they did their job well enough. Everyone wore masks at all times. I didn't see anyone, not even the guests, not have a mask on. Parking is SUPER tight. The turns are literally dangerous if you are not paying attention or going really fast. We were able to find parking though thanks to COVID. Do not, I repeat, Do not get your hopes up about breakfast. Due to COVID, your choices are literally bananas/ oranges, packet oatmeal, juice/ water, and coffee. Prepare to eat out. There is a McDonalds around the corner that you could probably walk to. Dinner at the hotel was horrible. We were going to go out and get Seafood but didn't want to spend too much. We ordered from the bar which the bartender was really nice but the food came out cold and their Jumbo shrimp was actually butterfly shrimp which I despise and that was not clarified. We spent a good chunk of change on their food for it to come back cold. The lobby area was clean, didn't have an odor, and neither did the hallways to the rooms. Our room was clean and the sheets passed my spot inspection. The kitchen was fully equipped and we really appreciated the fridge and microwave. The shower was different. It didn't have a door and somehow water didn't get everywhere, and I was still warm. The view in our room was beautiful. It looked like we could touch the water. At night, we kept the door open to hear the waves but what we found out was that the thermostat turns off when the door is open so we were hot while sleeping. Can't have the best of both worlds I guess. I wish they would have added a fan in the room because of that. It sucked when we had to close the door and not hear the ocean. I heard a lady complaining about it being too hot in her room (I'm not nosy lol) and I'm sure she was dealing with what we learned on our own. I have a feeling the staff have no idea why everyone is complaining about it being hot. read more

Very disappointed in this nasty room...hair everywhere..still waiting on towels since I check in yesterday. I asked for more towel at breakfast.. still no towels. Miss information about the room was given. Arrived early to request 2 rooms connecting or atleast on the same floor. Didn't get check in till 4.30. Parking is bad. The wait for the elevator is ridiculous. The lady working the bikes told me they were broke. I thought she was racial thing that she didn't want to help us. But she even told her coworker who took over the same lie. So now I see she just ignorant and don't want to do her job. no body wash in bathroom containers...which is sad because it's one of my favorite brand. Just avoid this location. As a titanium member I love marriott properties..but this one let me down. They say newly renovated so the lobby looks nice. read more

We have stayed at Residence Inn 3 times now. Last 2 yrs we had our dogs with us and this year we opted to go without them :( won't do that again lol but all in all this is a nice place. If I had to offer any advice in hopes management would read this I would say that the breakfast foods need to be cooked more!! Nobody likes runny scrambled eggs and the sausage is just barely done. There is nothing more than to wake up to low water pressure, not many towels and no breakfast food. The breakfast area was messy and there were spoiled rotted fruit of oranges, no coffee or hot water and people were waiting around at 8:30am to ZERO food that was SUPPOSED to be provided as a complimentary. Its the little things that counts and goes along way and this surely ruined my day! If you make sure ppl have a clean place to stay with food to fill their bellies your business will prosper. I wish this hotel was my first stop... Prior to my one day stay here I was on vacation with my cousin at a different hotel in Myrtle Beach. Unfortunately, when I arrived to the airport my flight was cancelled until the following day. I have never been in this predicament before. So, I sat at the airport in search of a hotel with four criteria's: proximity to the airport, a quality hotel, a safe hotel and of course price. I called two other hotels and wasn't satisfied with their quotes nor was I comfortable with the reviews. I stumbled on to the Marriot Bonvoy (quality) and the distance from the hotel (1.3) $9.00 Uber ride and with my AAA discount with taxes, my stay was below $200 for the night. Upon entering the reception area (which is awkwardly placed) you are met with an array of sunshine. The common areas has floor to ceiling window/walls that face the Ocean. Now for the staff... everyone was professional from the beginning (check-in) to the end (check-out). I was greeted, asked how was my day, welcome to the Marriott and all guests receives two bottles of water. The staff was knowledgeable with the area restaurants and their in-house restaurant as well. Evening the breakfast staff was accommodating as well. It reminded me of my international travels when the staff is so welcoming. I had no complaints with my room as well, everything was perfect here too. From the decor, layout and cleanliness. There is also a little patio with chairs. I would like to thank Anthony, Bianca, Deborah, and Thamielia for their assistance during my stay. Again, this Hotel is spacious with parking, pool and spacious common areas if you need a break from your roommate(s). The common areas has several televisions and their is a bar as well. This Hotel is dog friendly as well. Advice: place a sign with an arrow at the front of the hotel to let guests and drivers know to drive up to the garage to the reception area. The hotel has great amenities and is a quick 10 minute drive to the boardwalk, but it's in a developing area that is being revitalized. It's only 5 minutes from the airport, so your uber ride would be less than $10. It was a huge plus to be able to park on site in a covered garage connected to the hotel elevators, and there's a spacious loading zone right by the lobby. We came end of May/beginning of June and never had any issues finding a parking spot. Be prepared, the elevators are SLOW. There aren't enough of them, and they are slow. On average, we waited about 5 minutes any time we needed to use them (we were on the 9th floor). Our room, although upgraded, wasn't like the pictures. It was one open space whereas the website made it appear to be sectioned off with more privacy. Still, the room was a good size with a nice balcony and spacious bathroom. The kitchen was small, but I was just happy to have one in the room. The hotel pool, although nice, was located underneath the hotel so for guests looking to get some sun, it's not an ideal location. It's definitely a family-friendly pool with a small sprinkler pad. I think it could've been better maintained-the second day of our stay we wouldn't get in the pool because it was visibly dirty. I took advantage of the breakfast every morning, which was great because it had a large selection of healthy options, and I enjoyed being able to maintain my gym routine here. The gym had a great view of the ocean and had everything I needed, minus mats (the floor is super hard and scratchy, so a mat would've been nice). I was notified after booking, but there's a $15/day amenity fee. It was annoying to find out after the fact, but the amenities are great here so it's worth it. There were plenty of indoor and outdoor lounging and dining spaces, which we used a lot. The staff was the highlight here, and the reason for my 4 stars. They couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. They always welcomed us with a warm smile and greeting, no matter where we were in the hotel. This is a very nice hotel located on the great area of the beach. I found all of the staff to be very kind and pleasant. I would like to throw a shout out to Annie, the bartender and Marie in the towels area. Both of these ladies are great, helpful, funny, and really pleasant. Parking is an easy access to rooms in an open garage. Room views are top notch! Breakfast is nothing to write home about, so don't expect the best of the best. The pool area is really cold as it's shaded and in a wind tunnel, but the water is warm. Bathrooms are accessible in the pool area as well as the lobby. If you don't want to go to your room. Rooms are fine and were clean. Absolute best part is that you may walk to the beach from your room, which is the biggest perk in my opinion. Wow a pet friendly hotel, had no issues with owners in their pets. I would certainly recommend this hotel, which is on the higher end, compared to so many of the other hotels along the strip for a nice stay on the beach. A solid four out of five stars. read more

This is a brand new hotel - maybe a month old so of course it is sparkling clean. At the beach that will not last long but while it lasts, enjoy it. I found the check in staff to be very friendly but not everyone at the front desk was. When I phoned them to ask questions, the lady that answered was so quiet, I could not hear her well and she mumbled. She was also easily annoyed by even the simplest questions. Other staff was great. Breakfast staff was run by Queen who was articulate, efficient and super friendly. The complimentary breakfast of scrambled eggs and sausages were very overcooked but the service was perfect. There were TONS of waffle irons and the oatmeal was great with tons of toppings to choose from. Yogurt, fresh melon, fresh pineapple and beverages were also provided. Coffee was generic but fresh brewed. The sleeping quarters were roomy and the temperature was steady although slow to cool. It got to 97 degrees so it was challenged. The pool was lovely and is more likely to please adults than children. The toddler's water area was laughably tiny and boring. I do not have young children but I can't see any kid really liking it other than crawling babies. The pool area is not big enough for a huge crowd. Access to the beach is through the sand and there is no board walk. But it is within spitting distance of the hotel so that is a major plus. The pool shares the space with some loud machinery and the is off putting. There is an area with fire pits for cooler weather but again it is next to very industrial surroundings so I don't know how enjoyable it would be to sit out there. Inside is really the star. Wherever possible and almost everywhere, there is glass so you can view the ocean. Ocean view breakfast, lunch, bar, lounge, check in, etc. Even the halls where the rooms are has a ceiling to floor glass area so you can ogle at the water. The art and decorations are also top notch. Whoever the interior designer was deserves an award for this zen/modern look and feel of the interior. The colors are soothing and cool. I really enjoyed walking around with my daughters and just looking at everything. It almost felt like a mini art museum. It was 4 of us - two kids age 9 and 13 but I don't think I would bring them again. It's really not a place for kids - not much for them to do. If they enjoy a small pool and the beach then, okay they might like it for a day or two. But I can really see couples coming here for a honeymoon, anniversary or just to get away from the kids. I could see a girls getaway or a guys group, or a nice business retreat. It is upscale and comfortable with a full sized fridge, a small microwave, toaster, 2 eye stove, coffee pot. . .everything you need to fix a snack. No need to bring breakfast stuff as they have a complimentary hot breakfast that will hopefully work out its kinks. The bar was busy although I did not imbibe this time. We chose to eat in the hotel restaurant because it was too hot to walk anywhere and the 23 mile loop the city stupidly enforced made driving impossibly long. While slightly overpriced my husband really enjoyed the burger and fries, my kids liked the kids burger okay (they were overdone) and I really enjoyed my chilled seafood salad. We loved the huge warm brownie served a la mode with whipped cream and chocolate sauce that we shared. We had a relaxing weekend getaway but unfortunately we will not be returning to this hotel. Too many dogs!!! We saw dog poop in various places and witnessed a lady cleaning her dog in the heated pool... DISGUSTING!!!! If you have a dog dander allergy please avoid!! Our oceanfront room, breakfast and front desk staff were very nice. The hotel location is okay, parking is very tight, the pool area needs cleaning,breakfast was delicious and our oceanfront room was delightful. Housekeeping was very rude! read more

Very friendly reception desk staff. Room was clean w/exception of floor which, from bottom of socks, suggests needs mopping. View/upgrade to ocean front due to status was appreciated and helped us enjoy our trip - thank you. This review is being written to highlight the assistance of a housekeeping staff member "Teri". She was super friendly and went out of her way to get batteries for a remote that wasn't working properly, and even contacted maintenance on our behalf (toilet needs a tank seal as it was leaking/running - agree w/another reviewer re: bathrooms needing TLC) after a simple request for an additional towel. When a staff member, in an often thankless job, chooses to go above and beyond it deserves recognition by management as a way of showing appreciation for their work and encourages kindness and stellar customer service...and return customers. Teri is the reason this review had an extra star. To management, please recognize this asset to your business each and every time. Catherine at the front desk is rude and racist. I booked through a third party app. I arrived around 1230pm hoping to check in early. She informed me that she attempted to run the card on file prior to me checking in but it didn't work. Of course it didn't work check in wasn't til 3pm. I told her I use that card to reserve not to pay. She then began to inform me that she reinstated the reservation and would need a new card. She questioned if I wanted to pay for one night (that's odd) I said no I can pay for the entire stay. She then takes my card inserts it into the reader on the other side of the counter once it's approved she takes it out and places it on the counter nowhere near me for someone to possibly take it. She then walks back around the counter to fiddle with the computer. I ask are you finish with my card why didn't you hand it to me like I handed it to you. I always appalled once I began to tell the manager what happened she began to lie and say she wanted to make sure it was approved. It was definitely approved and you were pissed and left it on there out of spite. She then proceeds to tell me a $100 a night security deposit is needed. I've never heard that before so if my stay was 7 days they would have to hold $700 on Amex. Blatant disrespect and rudeness. read more

My family and I booked 2 days here for a weekend getaway and it was wonderful. The facility is much newer than some of the others nearby, which was a top reason for us choosing it for our stay. Inside I really liked that there were plenty of areas to sit in the common areas that face the water (while being socially distant from others). My husband and I both visited the 24hr gym (me for the treadmill, him for the weights) and it was clean and perfect for a quick vacay workout. The grey floors in our wheelchair accessible room added a nice touch and the room had more than enough space for 3 adults and an infant. The facility is dog-friendly and we did see several small dogs throughout. Breakfast is served as grab-n-go and there was a station upon entry with sanitizer and gloves for everyone to were while getting food which I liked --- they had a good variety of fresh fruits, muffins, bagels, cereal, eggs, juice, and breakfast meat. There were plenty of signs posted for patrons to wear masks and everyone during our stay that I noticed abided. Oh, and they're about 6mins away from a Walmart grocery store to stock up on things to bring back to your room. I just wish our room had a stove. We will definitely stay here again. read more

Beautiful property. The room was great as well. Staff needs training. Desperately. We've originally planned to stay a night. Booked it with points but decided to stay another 2 nights. On day 3, like the property handout explained, I expected the room to be cleaned. Traveling with a toddler so the trash cans get filled up quick. Asked for towels too. The front desk responded with a refusal to clean the room because technically, since we extended our stay, it is under a different reservation number and "doesn't qualify for cleaning". How absurd! We are paying over $400 a night and thats the response we get? How about some common sense or customer care? I've requested towels and shower gel (it was empty upon arrival) After about 3.5hrs we've received them since I asked again. My wife asked for a makeup removal wipe (there was 1 when we checked in) but was advised that she can BUY them downstairs!! After she refused, the hotel employee brought her some. I can stay at a motel 6 if thats the hospitality I'm offered. Very poor and disappointing experience. On the bright side, concierge was excellent! read more
