Since people haven't been traveling for a while things in Firenze have gotten hectic and prices have gone way up . My friends there were saying by mid spring it was already full of tourists. Taking another friend who'd never been to the area before, we lucked out and found these apartments. They're owned by a company that also has luxury boutique hotels but these are way way more affordable. We came in late and originally was supposed to go to one of the hotels to get the keys but it turned out they had someone up out front at the office late so it saved us a trip. This all started with a communication a month ahead of time and they were always very timely about responding and making sure we were going to get access despite the late flight. The various folks at the office were very nice to us and the rooms were probably how would like a furnished apartment if I lived here permanently. Porta Romana has its own little retail area but it's not like being in the town center. Only drawback is it's 20-40min walk into town but that was fine even when it rained. 4,3 stars read more
