Fancy enough to make an effort on an evening but not pretentious. The food is really good as well, last time we had a mixed platter, which was really well thought out and delicious. wouldn't be my first choice for a beer with the lads, but if we're with couples, it's the first stop every time!

Service on a Saturday night can be a little slow, but it's a small bar so really no more staff could be employed. Unfortunately they've recently buggered up the sound system, for some reason they decided to waste lots of money changing over the old Bose system, which was smooth as silk even when loud, to a system with cheap, tinny and grating speakers making it not as much of a pleasure to frequent. I've never known somewhere to spend money making something WORSE that it was before!

Guy and Jan are fabulous hosts and really understand how to renovate, decorate, equip, run, and manage a B and B. Such wonderful attention has been paid to the design of the rooms. Spectacular hand-made beds, terrific lighting and fixtures. Well designed and comfortable bathrooms. The property is clean and the breakfasts are amazing. Jan and Guy come from a long background in the hospitality business, and it shows. They and their staff work extraordinarily hard to keep the place spotless and running smoothly. The Inn is perfectly located so that you can see all of the great spots in town and the area and consume massive quantities of good food and beer "downtown" and then have a nice stroll to walk it off afterwards. The scrumptious breakfasts, wonderfully caring owners/staff, and beautiful accommodations make Lamb Inn Guesthouse a B&B that we will return to whenever we can. If they put a pub in the lower level in the future, I might not even leave the property! Four enthusiastic thumbs-up from us. BTW, ask Guy about what the inverted peace sign means. Nice food served too with welcoming and friendly staff.

After a heavy night I took my friend here for brunch. On the outside it looks closed. Walking up the stairs exposes a open kitchen and large seating area with cacti everywhere and a cool kat clock over looking the place. The service was enjoyable from start to finish..90 percent of staff including the chef looked genuinely happy to be working there dancing to the music smiling as they cooked and served. It gave it a buzz! The menu consists of well..a American diner..from the special board I chose the maple pecan nut shake and the Benny crab cakes.. my friend had the spinach and poached eggs dish with fresh mint tea. The Shake was huge and yummy and while I waited for my food I kept seeing indulgent stacks of pancakes being whisked away. My poached eggs were oozy and perfect and the crab cakes.. well very crabby! And rich..to break it up there was water melon on the side which refreshed the palette. My friend really enjoyed hers too. I really want to come back here :( please extend your opening times!!
