As in, you walk out the front door and you're on the lake, in all it's mirrored, crystal clear glory. Look at the photo. I've never taken a better photo than that in my entire life.
There's a delightful Fawlty Towers charm to this place, not because they do anything wrong you see, more because of the clientele, who, when we stayed there, were almost exclusively German holidaymakers and wonderfully odd.... like the man with slippers, knee high socks and twirly mustache who ate breakfast next to us every morning. Or the family of really fat people who had the 10-year old that could have been a boy or a girl, they were dressed so indiscriminately, with such an impassive haircut, that it was impossible to tell.
The rooms are just okay, they're nice and clean and how much time are you spending in them anyway, with the lake right there? Breakfast is a continental buffet affair, lots of interesting things to eat, toast, spreads, a bunch of cakes, fruit, that kind of thing. Would go back. With a camera and a blog.
