Positive reviews immediately after the job is done are easy to come by but getting a contractor to come back when something goes wrong is a completely different matter. I raised what was a major concern to me to a Resolute Roofing supervisor following completion of my roof. The supervisor phoned the joint owner Warren Romig and explained my concerns and how anxious I was. My doorbell rang at 7:30 PM on Friday evening. Warren had decided to make a 120 mile round journey to view the job in person and to reassure a very concerned customer. There was no attempt to BS. Warren understood my concerns and made a commitment to put things right. I returned home to the United Kingdom worried that the promise would not be followed through. Warren kept in constant contact, not through his people but in person. He took personal ownership of the problem. Then came Hurricane Ian! The roof faired very well indeed and despite a 24/7 workload Warren delivered on his commitments to me. Not only did he deliver on his promise he made the journey out to our home to give me a report on it's post hurricane condition as he knew that we were so worried. What other contractor would do this? The joint owners of Resolute Roofing are building a company based on values. From my perspective their unique selling point is INTEGRITY to their employees and through their employees to their customers and it shows! I saw a definition of Integrity that certainly seems to sum up Warren: "When you make a commitment you build hope. When you keep it you build Trust". So.....the morale of my story is that it's great when things go well but the real test is the response from the contractor when they don't! Compare and contrast with so many other contractors in Florida and indeed the United Kingdom......job done, invoice paid and goodbye! Not the way that Resolute Roofing do business. I live in North Port and have a home built in 2005 making it 17 years old. Like many homeowners here in Southwest Florida, I received an untimely notification that my homeowner's insurance company would not be renewing my policy due to "the age of your roof exceeds our eligibility guidelines." After contacting my insurance agency and several other area home insurers to discuss my options, I grudgingly came to the conclusion that it would be in my best interest to just go ahead and replace it. The Resolute Roofing account managers for my area, Bob and Martha Tolsen, came out and answered all my questions. Bob did the physical inspection of the roof while Martha explained to me the whole process including insurance and financial details and the timeline typically involved. Bob and Martha conveyed a sense of honesty and professionalism that made my decision easy to go with Resolute Roofing. Once the process started, it went smoothly and without a hitch- Bob and Martha covered every aspect. The installation crew was professional, efficient, and left the yard and surrounding area exactly like it was before they started! I recently had some major damaged done to my home by Xfinity on Friday May 15, 2026. My backyard fence was destroyed and my roof ended up with a hole . An Xfinity Supervisor spoke with my neighbor and was supposed to call me and leave their contact in my door, but neither has happened as of this date. Because of the rainy weather, my biggest concern was the hole left in my roof and water damage inside of my home. I reached out the company that had recently installed my new rood, Resolute Roofing LLC, and asked about getting my roof tarped to prevent inside damage. The company was already closed and any call from this point was considered an emergency service call - Extra Money! But, I had no choice! The owner, (Warren Romig) and a Specialist, (Lance), got to my home early Saturday morning and immediately sent me photos of the damage. They inspected the rest of the roof and gave me a call to inform me that everything else was in great shape. What was needed on the roof, was repairing the Ridgeline. Already knowing the emergency call could cost me nearly $400, I was afraid to hear what this would cost. To my surprise - They told me that they would take care of the repair for FREE! They told me that, they strive to help their customers and community when they can. And because this was an unfortunate incident, they were willing to Help. With my heart overjoyed, I couldn't do anything but cry with relief and gratitude; and I thanked them. Since and before they could fix the roof, Port Charlotte had a strong rainy night and I have the beginnings of water damage inside my home. As far as all the other damage, I have had the run=around from Xfinity and no one has contacted me - but they've shown up and without permission, strung an extension cord across my backyard - which as prevented my lawn service from cutting my yard. I'm hoping the County can assist me in getting this taken care of - Or if Xfinity will just reach out and do the right thing! read more

They were absolutely wonderful! Greg S. took such good care of us in an emergency situation! Thanks to tropical storm Elsa, and the daily thunderstorms that are constantly rolling in, an apparently mitigating situation was made worse. We have a home in Cape Coral that we rent out to vacationers. Naturally, we had 6 guests at the house when the storm hit. Due to all the rain we received, water started leaking into one of the bedrooms. As soon as we were made aware, my husband frantically stated his search for a roofing company. It wasn't too long when he found Resolute Roofing, LLC. in Ft. Myers. He had numerous conversations with Greg S, who took such good care of us, and made us a top priority on such short notice, taking into consideration the pretty dire situation that we were in. Constant communication, quick response time, and efficiency, is what they provided. Just fantastic! They immediately came out to tear off the old roof, and place the underlayment, to prevent any further inside damage and water leaks until the new shingles arrived and could be installed. Upon completion, we received the final wind mitigation inspection, and they next day, we received the warranty certificate and wind mitigation information that we will now send to our insurance company for hopefully somewhat of a premium discount, also suggested by Greg. From start to finish, this company took care of everything for us. We are truly grateful for all they did for us in such a short time. We are also grateful that they realized the extreme situation that we were in. Damage would have been much worse if they had not responded to us as quickly as they did. Michelle Adams was very knowledgeable on the business end and made herself available to me to meet my needs with my busy work schedule as a healthcare provider. She was very patient and helpful in assisting me with my decisions on picking out roof shingles to which I had such a hard time making a decision. Brad Adams also made himself available to me at any time due to my hectic work schedule. he would meet with me after hours as well. On the job site Brad Adams was there every step of the way. From our first contact to the final meeting, the staff was totally responsive, true to their word and commitment date (as soon as was possible considering the backlogs due to Hurricane Ian), followed up without having to be prompted, sent emails with their plan of operation and in the end came to our home to meet with us to make sure that the job was done to our satisfaction and that we were happy with their work. We had a very positive experience with this roofer. We had to replace our three-year-old roof due to hail damage. Resolute Roofing did everything they said they would do in the time frame they promised. Our contact, Jacob Summerhill, answered all questions promptly and we had excellent communication with him throughout the project, which included working with our insurer, a public adjuster, and our mortgage company. It was quite a process, but Jacob helped us navigate it. Pricing and payment deadlines were clearly explained and reasonable. The crew completed the roof in one day as promised. They were friendly and cleaned up well. One roofer even went into the retention pond behind our house to remove a piece of the plastic used to protect our house that had blown into the water. They did an excellent job of protecting our AC unit (which we had forgotten to turn off during the tear off as advised) with plywood. I obtained several different quotes, and right off the bat I was impressed with Corey he came out, explained everything in depth, and even when I changed up my plan at the last minute to do shingles on my pitched roof, and TPO on my flat roof this company went above, and beyond to find the product for me. It's certainly not an ideal time with supply issues and rising costs to replace a roof, but the price was right what I had in mind, and outside if 1 minor set back since I used 2 different materials the roof was done in a timely manner. Corey was quick to respond to any questions I had. and kept me in the loop on everything. It was that time after a major Hurricane when you meet a multitude and variety of debris removal services, contractors, roofers etc. To me, working with people you can trust was my first concern followed closely by quality and post installation support. Being a Veteran myself learning Resolute is a veteran owned company gave me an expectation I would be dealing with honest straight forward people. My expectations are now reality. We now have a beautiful new Decra metal roof. The removal of the damaged tiles crew and new installation crew worked hard as teams and were respectful of the property. Tearing off an old roof and installing a new one is not an easy or overnight process, nor is getting much done quickly after a major Hurricane. I had an outstanding experience with Resolute Roofing. I had damage from the storm December 21, 2021. Lynda and Frank Baugh came to the house and looked at the roof finding damage. Frank even came to the house when the inspector from my insurance company came. Once the insurance claim was approved, Lynda helped walk me through what needed to be done. I was very impressed with their professionalism and thorough follow through. Even to the point May 12th, we had torrential rains in Rotonda. I immediately called Lynda Baugh, worried about my roof. We just had Resolute Roofing put a new roof on our home after we discovered damage from storms. We worked with Brad Adams and he was very knowledgeable and helped us with our insurance company to see whether they would cover some of the expense. Brad and his team were very good keeping us posted on the start date for our project. There were a couple of changes due to weather, but they started when they said they would. They covered everything with tarps to keep debris out of our pool and yard. They moved potted plants out of the way. The old roof was removed and replaced with our new roof and it was finished and everything put back to normal on the same day! We chose Resolute Roofing from a group of contractors that we got estimates from a year ago! We chose contractors that were local, veteran owned with 5 star ratings. Dean, the rep, came pretty close to the old estimate, which was a pleasant surprise! A large crew arrived on the first day to do the tear-off. They worked a full day. The crew covered all landscaping and our pool to carefully protect our property. They ended the first day with our roof prepped for shingles and my property spotless! Before they left, a large magnet was rolled over our lawn to trap any stray nails! They came back the second day to shingle and were finished in about 5 hours! They did a beautiful job! I was amazed by the care they took of my property throughout the installation process. Care was taken to prevent debris from injuring my gardens & bushes. They covered my A/C unit, my swimming pool, all the pool equipment, etc. The work crews and the site supervisor continually cleaned scrap, metal chards, screws, etc from my property. While I stayed out of the way most of the time, I did venture outside to watch occasionally. I asked a number of questions and always got polite and correct answers. The metal pieces of my new metal roof are all perfectly aligned. The quality of the material and workmanship is beyond reproach. In December we had a wind storm come through our area and my neighbor noticed some shingles had blown off the roof.
