Been here a couple of times over the past few months when down in RVA and not disappointed. My first visit was a full massage with Jenna and it was so relaxing and I think I fell asleep within the first 20 minutes, which for me signifies a great salon and I was pleased. Today, I had reflexology by Stefanie and it was dreamy. It's so interesting how points on one's feet can be felt in various body parts/organs. Massage pressure is personalized and she was right on target as well as the manipulation of my feet was executed with care and gently. Stefanie has excellent customer service and she explains things as she moves around the feet however also periods of quietness for solitude or in my case a snooze. I love these folks. They are top notch. I feel so good when I leave. Had several types of massages here but the Thai massage is the best.

It's hard for me to put my love for this place into words. Truly. I've lived in major cities, I've paid $$$ for massages at beautiful resorts and spas. But this place is just It with a capital I. No other massage therapists, anywhere, compare. I realize that sounds crazy but it's been my experience. The entire vibe of the place is soothing and dark and embracing in a way that is so grounding and healing and borderline intoxicating. The therapists know their stuff and aren't there to give you a standard massage while counting down the clock. They really get to know your body and every massage will meet you exactly where you are with the needs your body has on a given day. I've really come to trust Resolve Bodyworks. I no longer live in Richmond but any time I'm in town I make booking a massage here my top priority. Everything else can wait. Resolve Bodyworks is Richmond's greatest asset and I wish I could clone it and rebuild it in every place I live. But it can't be replicated anywhere else and that's what makes it so special. read more

I have followed Mackenzie around for around 3 years, hell if she moved overseas I'd probably follow LOL. She knows my body very well and seems to know exactly what I need done to feel legit again. Apparently I have the body of an 89 y/o as far as knots and tightness and the thing I really like about Resolve is that she uses whatever tools she has at her disposal (which is A LOT) to get you feeling better. I have become a huge fan of cupping, Thai scraping feels good but leaves some nasty evidence lol. I also enjoy that since I'm allergic to hemp and miss out on the CBD oil grain she ha made me my own massage oil using my favorite scent! Not to mention I always leave with a list of shows/movies to watch!! They are also doing reflexology now on Wed and Mackenzie makes the herbal foot soaks for that which I'm eager to try out next!! Can you give more than 5 stars? I've been with Jo for over 6 years now and they are AMAZING. He takes the time to talk to you about what parts of your body you need worked on and goes above and beyond with advice for when you go home. Their recommendations for stretching and exercise have helped wonders. I've suffered with chronic muscle related chest pain for years and a monthly massage from them are essential to my well being. In addition, Jo's very knowledgeable about anatomy of the body and explains why certain muscles are doing certain things. I can't say enough about the flexibility in scheduling and they will do their best to get you seen when it works for you. More recently I did their prenatal massage during my pregnancy and it was essential for me in getting through 9 months of aches and pains. Can't thank you enough Jo! read more

Justine legitimately saved my life. I took the bar exam in July and was having such bad back and shoulder/neck pain in May and early June that I was concerned about being able to study for the remainder of the summer. I had been going to another massage provider in town and needed extra work on my tight muscles. Kolleen did an excellent job of working on my tense neck and back muscles. I like the fact that they use CBD oil and cupping in their massages, and the massage room is very tranquil. I plan to use Resolve again! read more

I absolutely love my time spent with Mackenzie. She's experienced in her craft and really spends time and energy on your problem areas, some of which I didn't even realize I had. As someone who spends most of their work day hunched over and therefor frequently has pains in their shoulders and back, I truly feel better after seeing her. Additionally she always sends me home with things I can do on my own or has some herbal recommendations for me to try.
