I prefer to do the classroom-only option for classes like this, since I want as much hands-on training and discussion as possible to help me retain what I'm learning. (They do also offer many hybrid options online.) I'm very glad I signed up for a Sunday morning class so I could park on the road nearby, since I have no idea how anyone would be able to find parking around this location otherwise. (I recommend coming early and checking all street signs carefully for the parking restrictions/requirements.) Once I made it to the door, I pressed the bell and went upstairs. We started pretty much on time and every seat in the class was filled. The class consisted of text and videos on the television interspersed with group/partner activities and hands-on training. We got to use the adult-size torsos (with lights to show you if you were pressing hard enough), infant dolls, practice AED machines, training Epi-pens, and some basic first-aid materials. Luckily, the class members who attended on this day were fun and engaged, so we had good discussions. The class lasted the full 6.5 hours. (In the past, it's been 50-50 for going for the full time, since sometimes the class votes to take a working lunch to finish early.) The teacher also ended up taking more frequent breaks toward the end, since people were lagging after lunch. I do like that the full-day class means you don't have to take a separate test, since the instructor verifies you are doing all the hands-on techniques properly. We even got a pin after answer a final "quiz" question correctly at the end of the class. I left the class feeling prepared and ready to help with CPR or first aid in an emergency. The completion certificate link was sent via email, which is handy if I need to pull it up while I'm on the go.

There are many online CPR courses which I did take but were not valid when I submitted it to the state. I took the class with Francisco the owner which is prior military and firefighter. From day one it was really easy to get a hold of him and to arrange for the class. I got lucky that my class ended up being just me so I got to ask any questions I had and Francisco would gladly answer them. The whole experience was an easy and very insightful. Francisco does a great job teaching and cares about you learning.

The first time was cancelled within the hour of class starting and the second time was within 30 minutes of class starting. Additionally, the person who called to reschedule me the first time was not very kind on the phone when asking her my options moving forward. Not only did I have to take time off of work to attend these classes, but now I cannot start my new job since they have cancelled on me. I'm pretty bummed with the entire situation. They are extremely well informed regarding every aspect of the classes they instruct. Both Jenn and Max are not only instructors but providers as well. This lends to them having first hand knowledge of that which they speak as well as having a certain amount of empathy for their students, as they have been and in some instances are still in our shoes. I personally went to school with both of them and can attest to their dedication to learning as well as their dedication to teaching and making sure their students leave well versed in ACLS. They are always learning and willing to pass along what they know. Both take the time to insure their pupils know the material prior to class completion. If you are having a hard time, speak up. They will do all they can to get you through it. Their facilities are clean and neat and their equipment is sanitized and in great condition. I'm not afraid to touch those dolls and AEDs. I'm confident we won't leave with anything we didn't come in with except maybe those certifications on point. I definitely would highly recommend this company for all your ACLS/PALS/CPR needs.

We took the childbirth education and cpr classes…read more I'd recommend them. One class was held at Nidhi's residence (separate from her home) and another was at an office location in Arlington. The instructors were great. Nidhi is very knowledgeable, friendly, and open. The class sizes were pretty small and you're encouraged to ask lots of questions. There were also snacks and water which are important to me since i was pregnant and didn't want to go 2+ hours not eating/drinking anything. My husband and I brought sandwiches to one class and we were able to eat them during the class (it was around dinner time/6pm) so atmosphere is casual which I appreciate. You get an online resource packet after the class that summarizes everything covered. Should probably look at that again as i am typing this before my gassy, ornery newborn wakes up.

Nested's Newborn Care/ Infant CPR Bootcamp absolitely knocked it out of the park. I learned SO MUCH about the stages baby's are going through when they're first born, the routines you're establishing, the techniques you can use to care for them and more. Renie and Migma are so nice, and so clearly so committed to what they do, I felt extremely comfortable and confident under their instruction. The class imparts so much information in a 4-hour course, and the cherry on top is that after completing the in-person and online class imparts now Red Cross certified for both Adult and Infant CPR, and feel confident in both. Even Though I myself am not expecting, I was welcomed and encouraged in my desire to learn.
