Solidly mediocre BBQ, especially for Loudoun County. My wife and I ordered 2 of the two meat platters; one w/ ribs and sausage, the other with pork and turkey. Sides were Mac & Cheese, Collards, baked beans, and green beans. It was bleh at best, and forgettable at worst. My sausage, aside from being room temperature when it arrived, tasted more like grocery store sausage than quality BBQ sausage. The ribs were ok, not terrible but not amazing. The pork needed more salt. The best meat was by far the turkey. As for the sides; the Mac & Cheese was on the bland side, the collards needed twice as much salt and/or bacon fat than they had, not to mention that they were warm not hot upon arrival, and the beans were mediocre. On the plus side, the place is lively and welcoming and our server was prompt, cheerful, and attentive, but there is def better BBQ to be found in the area.

Bland....'0' flavor!

This place is SO LAME! I knew there was about to be some B.S. when the tray handed to me was so light!! $28 for 3 small ribs, a small piece of sausage cut into several pieces, greens and (if you can call this mac and cheese). It lacked ANY KIND OF FLAVOR! I started to refuse this order when tjis light tray was handed to me.....but I decided not to judge them based on that, thinking.....maybe the quality of the food was worth $28. NOT!!!!! Avoid this place. No wonder they were EMPTY! See the pictures...

Beef rib, coleslaw, mac and cheese.

The beef rib was excellent although expensive and they don't have them all the time. Coleslaw had a weird flavor, too much vinegar. Mac and cheese was very tasty. Service was fast and friendly. Overall, the experience was good. We'll have to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Good place for BBQ meat lovers! They've got an expansive menu but I wanted to try their wings (smoked, then flash fried) and it was one of the best. The outside had that nice crisp'n crunchy layer and the meat was full of flavor. Next I tried their chili which is a must-try when you visit. They include every BBQ meat they smoke in this slightly, spicy chili (May set off one or two fire alarms).

Very good food, excellent service. Spotless restroom. I went on a Saturday afternoon and the place was almost empty. If that matters.

Thank you for all the gluten free options. The Mac and cheese tastes like regular Mac and cheese. The Kookie Brownie Sundae is Devine.

This place is just stunning...the dining area, stairs with positive messages, the ordering/"shopping", even the bathroom! The service is just exceptional, above and beyond. It was a seameless process to make the reservation online and edit as needed. There were automatic emails and texts for the reservation confirmation and reminder. Each afternoon tea includes 2 pots of tea, 1 macaron/person, and additional bites (savory & sweet). Luckily, there were 2 of us, so we each ordered our own teas. I'm not sure how flexible they are if requesting additional tea pots for larger parties (max 8 people). The weekdays tea is $35/person, weekends $40/person (needs a reservation). There is an 18% gratuity to all the final bill regardless of the number of people in the party. I would highly recommend the Thai tea...I don't add any sugar or cream to my tea and it was still so tasty. I ordered the coconut macaron, which is the newest addition the the macaron family. Parking: there is parallel parking available in front of and around the establishment. There is also a parking garage roughly 1 block (walking distance), which is free on the weekends. If planning a visit on the weekdays, be sure to read the parking signs carefully. I would definitely return to try other items on their menu.

They also had an osmanthus flower drink and a signature drink with grapes that was very tasty as well. The hands on part was my favorite. They walked us through how to properly whisk our own matcha and let us practice the technique ourselves. On top of that, we got to sample a variety of their teas throughout the class. The owner clearly knows their craft. Their in-store matcha has actually won awards, and you can taste the quality difference. The space itself is beautifully curated too, with a whole shelf of adorable teaware and gifts to buy afterward. Such a fun, educational experience for a group. Highly recommend if you want to actually learn about matcha rather than just drink it!!!

Matcha Lab Experience…read more After having been to Seven TeaHouse several times, we wanted to try one of their tasting experiences - the Matcha Lab! Our host, Cody, was incredible and super knowledgeable about all things tea. He guided us through everything from the origins of matcha to how to make it ourselves at home. It was especially helpful to watch him make the drinks and see the proper technique for whisking matcha and what temperature water we should be using when making our own, etc. For the tasting itself, he made us 4 different matcha drinks - all of which were soo good!! It changed my perception on what good matcha drinks can taste like and I think has increased my standards (for better or for worse lol). If you love matcha, interested in learning more about it and want to try some different matcha drinks not offered anywhere else, I highly highly recommend the Matcha Lab.

We stopped in on a Friday morning and were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. We were seated immediately, which gave us a chance to take in the restaurant's charming farmhouse aesthetic. With its high ceilings and rustic décor, it feels like a modern take on an old country farmhouse that's warm and inviting without feeling overdone. As an unexpected bonus, we happened to visit during Restaurant Week, and the special was an incredible value. It included a Buff-Mosa, deviled eggs, and the Low Country Biscuit. My wife ordered the Southern Philly, so we ended up sampling a little of everything. The Buff-Mosa was a refreshing way to start the meal. Made with Blue Ridge Vodka, Cava, and strawberry-watermelon juice, it was light, crisp, and not overly sweet. The deviled eggs were topped with bacon jam, which added a nice savory touch. They had a bit more mustard and horseradish kick than I'm accustomed to, but they were still delicious and packed with flavor. The real star, though, was the Low Country Biscuit. It was absolutely enormous, stacked with perfectly fried chicken, chunky pimento cheese, and hot honey. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the combination of the rich pimento cheese with the sweet heat of the hot honey was outstanding. The honey added just enough spice to complement the sandwich without overpowering the other flavors. I also tried a bite of my wife's Southern Philly, and it was fantastic. It's a creative Southern spin on a classic Philly cheesesteak and one that's definitely worth ordering. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. One fun detail I really appreciated was that the check is presented inside a book, a small touch that fits perfectly with the restaurant's farmhouse theme. Between the outstanding biscuits, generous portions, creative menu, and excellent service, Buford's Biscuits delivered a fantastic breakfast experience. There are still plenty of menu items I'd love to try, so we'll definitely be back.

We made it in about an hour before they closed which was great because the crowd had already come and gone. We were promptly sat at a cute two top table in the second room off the entrance. I had the Baker's Biscuit with a side of mac and cheese. All of the food was delicious but you definitely have to fork and knife the biscuits because they are so large. We really enjoyed our meal.
