At fist sight , small road side restaurant, owner/chef greets you in, or to the outside tables. A quite person, man of few words in the beginning. Menu is simple but enough options to satisfy all taste - fish, chicken, pork, and even duck. I had the beef steak, wife had pork filet. Mother in law had the shrimp. All dishes were amazing. I am not a fan of sauce on my steak BUT this steak was different. Big thick steak, grilled on the outside with a wine sauce and garlic butter on top, soft sliced carrots and soft cooked potatoes with onions and mushrooms as sides. First cut of the steak down the middle and to my surprised it was perfectly pink throughout! For such thickness was concerned with over or under cook. But it was perfect. Juice, soft and the wince sauce did not take aways from the meat flavor it complimented the steak along with garlic butter. After my meal I realized the chef/owner spoke English and decided to compliment him. Not a big talker in the beginning but warms up quickly. He stated he worked in Texas at 1 of the top five French restaurants for over 16 years. It all made sense, that's why he cooked the perfect steak and was able to get away with a wince sauce that as I mentioned didn't take away but complimented the steak/meat flavor. Nice fellow, excellent food , in a small town in Poland. Pleasantly surprised! Definitely recommend and would come back!!!
