My small, private tour group consisting of my husband, his sister, her husband and myself would not have eaten lunch here had our guide not lead us through.
Our fav parts of the experience -
+Antique setting of lace doily linens and burnished brass
+More variety in beer selection compared other restaurants: My husband and his brother-in-law were elated when they discovered the Zywiec porter. As a native Polish man and now a home brewer in the U.S., he was surprised at not even being aware this type of piwo for this brand existed!
+Purim Chicken dish: They cooked it well by striking a balance in texture and flavor with the crispy seasoned breading on the outside and topping of a sweet sauce.
+Compassionate service: The hubby accidentally knocked off some of the chicken from the above plate when the server was setting on it the table. No worries! The chef was understanding and made another piece to make up for the missing portion.
The only (small) negatives were that the overall serving sizes were a bit small and the dishes didn't come with sides to make them more substantial. However, we got over not being completely full with how quality the food was. read more
