What had we been waiting an hour for, if our food wasn't properly cooked? It was as if the meat had just been boiled in the watery tomato sauce inside the calzone and that's it. My pizza was just okay, and I don't think I would have been impressed had I waited only 10 minutes instead of an hour. It looked impressive when it came out, but it lacked flavor big time. Another thing I didn't like about this restaurant was the service. I understand their card system (you get a chip card upon entering, and this is what you use to order and pay your check at the end of your meal). What I didn't understand is why not a single staff member seemed bothered about the customers. You have to go up to the cooks yourself to order and get your own water, which is fine, but when you're sitting for an hour, very hungry, and no one cares, it's hard to be forgiving toward the service (or lack thereof). I had a lot of time to look around before our food was done and noticed I wasn't the only one looking around confused. Maybe this is a business model choice that benefits them more than it hurts them, but it did not work for me, especially given the low quality of the food. I will not go to Vezzo again.

It's a big statement and in order to live up to their words the establishment must deliver on all accounts. It does deliver, on some of them. As this is my hometown I'm very familiar with the local dining scene, and this is a restaurant that sort of falls in between the trendy upscale places and the pubs. My immediate feeling is that they try a bit too hard to be more than they are. I went out for a casual dinner with my wife and we chose Invito since we hadn't tried it yet. To start off the ambiance is nice, tables located around the walls with a contemporary modern-style cocktail bar in the middle serving in 360 degrees. The bar is however your standard run-of-the-mill serving of cocktails found at most pubs. No real signature flare or excitement in the drinks. Cocktail-lounge music in the background, soft without being too distinct or taking any focus away from the dinner-table conversations. The serving staff is nice and friendly, but a little bit too slow in noticing the hints on when you want their attention. I think they could step this up a few notches and use at least some staff with more experience. As for the food we each had a 3-course meal, with different dishes divided between my wife and I. Started off with an antipasto plate which was ok but nothing out of the ordinary. For main I had the duck breast with tomato chutney, carrot terrine, and cauliflower puree. Sounded nice in written form and was nice eating as well. The wine recommendation of Surí barbera d asti DOC was a good choice. However, the duck was a bit too overcooked for me. Could easily have done with a bit more pink meat and crispier skin. The dessert was actually for me the highlight, a crème brulée with blood-orange sorbet and crumble was truly prepared to perfection. So it ended on a positive note. Since this restaurant also functions as a nightclub in the later hours of the night, this does shine through a bit in how they run their dinner service - which is not meant as a compliment. In all, an ok place if you want a dinner out, but not a place to visit if you want to be blown away by perfection. Perhaps try it once to make up your own mind, but keep expectations within reason. Also, the price range doesn't justify the quality of the food. Drop the prices a little bit or up your game.

If you didn't know better it could more than likely pass as a storage room and not a pizza place. It is small, only a few windows, barely any tables apart from some chairs to sit on while waiting to take your pizza's and be off. Yes, it's not really the kind of place where you stay and eat. It is flour all over the place, old decorations and nothing feels fresh. However, the staff there are very helpful, kind, talkative and everytime you enter it's that whole familiar feel to it. Maybe also because it is actually run by a family with Italian heritage. This establishment has been there for many (many!) years and hailed to have some of the best pizza's around, and not only then counting the city limits. I don't know if I'm as convinced as many others are though. Good, yes. Great, yes. Extraordinary, no. They have a large menu, probably well over 150 different pizza's, but this could also be one problem. Too big of a menu isn't always the best way to deliver a great product. I usually prefer fewer things and perfect execution. But such things aside, the pizza is nice. Thin and crispy crust, never burnt, rich in flavor and generous with ingredients. The prices are ok, maybe a tad overpriced, which is more related to the demand than perhaps the actual quality. If you call in an order on a Friday night, expect about 1 1/2-2 hours of waiting time before you pick them up. I'm just not convinced they live up the hype. Good, yes. Extraordinary, no. But for any average at-home pizza-night, they do fit the bill.

The prices are reasonable at about 130kr or if you're feeling crazy you can get a fancy one for 10.000kr. Ain't nobody got time for 10k pizza but 130 is worth it.
