Some standard stuff hut also interesting choices so should be possible for most people to find something of interest. What really stood out was the friendly and relaxed service that was still efficient. It is actually so good that it made me consider giving five stars but will have to visit more times to see if they keep it up. Good value for money is also a big plus. Will do repeat visits.

I ordered the fish and it was a good sized portion with a big piece of fish and lots of potatoes. It didn't taste very much though and the potatoes were unevenly cooked. My vegetarian colleagues said the soup was good but not amazing. No one commented the wallenbergare but they went down pretty fast so I guess they must've been tasty. Coffee is included in lunch, served in cheap drinking glasses. No cookies/sweets. My colleagues go here quite a lot so they kind of like it, but it's also right around the corner from where we work.

Taking in the scene while dining, an absence of the music ubiquitous in Restaurants today putting more focus on a "who's who" dynamic that clearly saw servers favoring certain tables, it was after a requested refill of Water that plates of Sausage and Quenelles de Brochet arrived, the former a classic Swedish dish with lots of texture that outperformed one past experience at Aquavit in New York while the souffléd Fish fell flat thanks to under-seasoning and Fennel which muted any Lobster flavor in the Sauce. Surveying a lengthy Dessert menu before making a decision, the sizable portions and richness already adding up, it was on the advice of others that Operabaren's Butter Cream and Meringue Cake was selected over items featuring Rhubarb or Chocolate with Walnuts, the results thankfully justifying an entire meal thanks to crisp yet nearly weightless Almond Meringue layered above and below Cream that tasted like sweetened butter but ate like Mascarpone Cheese.

We wanted to try the banoffe cake because it was mentioned in the movie Love Actually and we had never had it before. It is a combination of banana and toffee with a layer of cream on top and a pie crust. Neither of us liked it but we were glad we tried it. The hot chocolate tastes just like the one at Cafe Saturnus if I remember correctly. There is free wifi and they accept Diner's Club international! If you're traveling internationally, use your Discover/Diner's Club international card when possible because there are no foreign transactions fees.
