Anti pasti selection had many old standards,not radical cuisine,but the quality of ingredients was very very good. Linguini with porcini and truffle was super! Served in a Parmesan basket there was an added touch of flair with the chef grating a generous shower truffle on the plate at the table, very nice personal touch. Gorgonzola for last course took 20 minutes to arrive, but I'm sure that's because the chef wanted it to be at the right temperature... So no complaint on that score, Espresso , good authentic Italian roast, no Tschibo ersatz here. Attentive waiters and good value. Best place to eat within 3 km, no wonder they are busy ! Be sure to book in advance...wines ...long list, go for what you know...

The specials were mainly seafood although they did have other dishes. The dishes we enjoyed were: - the Tuna tartar (wonderfully clean flavours) - the fish soup (excellent) - the chef's antipasto (delightful section of small dishes) - the grilled Dorado fillet very nicely done - the grilled fish plate (2 kinds of grilled fish fillets and some grilled prawns excellent) - the spaghetti Bolognese (the ragu is something to behold.. deep flavourful) - the Tiramisu (very tasty and surprisingly light.(like it is made with mouses)) On top of this very friendly service (even tough we were a bit underdressed) really made this one of the highlights (if not the highlight) of our trip to Oberhausen. We will definitely try to return here next time we visit Oberhausen..

Very nice Italian restaurant with a large menu selection. Part of several businesses located in…read morerefurbished manufacturing buildings of old. Nice ambiance and decor. The antipasto appetizer platter was very good with plenty to share among five persons. Very good Sicilian Roast in a generous portion. I would have preferred it less rare, but the taste and quality were excellent. Vegetable side was fine but more seasoning would be nice.
