My family ordered for us so I wasn't able to see the menu but we had the half chicken with "spicy" sauce and fries. Very juicy and delicious chicken but the sauce is what makes it! Not spicy at all, but had such an amazing buttery flavour unlike anything I've had with chicken. Matched so well! Fries were great as well, also dipped in the sauce of course! Don't feel silly when your primal instincts tell you to pick up the chicken with your hands because everyone else is doing it as well! We each ordered chicken in a basket and one side of fries. We were pleasantly stuffed! Best meal I had in Switzerland in the middle of summer! Decor is kind of out dated but the views this restaurant provides can't be beat. It's a bit of a drive out of Lucerne but it's well worth it. I also met the owner of the restaurant. She's a sweet old lady who sits in a corner booth and watches as her customers devour her delicious chicken.
