Sale e Pepe's tables are a little further away from the noisy main road than their neighbour La Piazzetta. Other than that I cannot compare the two because I only ate at Sale e Pepe. I think the service was very good. Obviously well trained and very polite. As often happens in a restaurant, a free shot was offered when paying the bill. Very unusually we were asked which shot/schnapps we would like (and a rather long list of options was given). I had a grappa that tasted better many free ones I had in other restaurants before! I think the food was slightly unspectacular. I know Italian food is without much spice, but somehow this Italian food tasted almost boring. I tasted the food of my partner too. One starter was large enough to share between two (or even three) people. The toilets are clean. However (besides some urinals) there is only one toilet. And with 130 seats inside, that may no be enough. No WiFi. I ate outside but looked inside and I think the tables are very far apart. Great for some privacy!
