It's basically like buffet style except they just help you with portion control. I ordered sushi mostly and couldn't even stomach the rice. Something in there was too sugary and the farthest thing from traditional sushi rice. Why am I being so hard on them? Because I just had really good sushi from a different place tonight on Gran Canaria and I know this place is capable of way better. The duck on the other hand was outstanding; perfectly fatty and flavored beautifully with the orange sauce. The dessert was a layer of cake and fruits at the bottom, topped what I can only describe as condensed whipped cream. It was so good it was gone in a blink of an eye. Finally we ventured in to sit in the back room which kind of has a green room feel without the steamy heat. Our waitress was very helpful with the language barrier and they even had English menus. I ended up ordering the beef cheeks, which my other table mates decided to laugh at me for. They weren't laughing when that plate came out. It was so beautiful and there was no need for a knife. The meat just fall apart in its tenderness. The brown sauce was a perfect addition, making it rich but not too heavy. My sister ordered the mini pork hamburgers with apples and they were so delicious. Each bite was packed with a flavor bomb. All in all, great caring service and delicious food combined into one heck of a wonderful Las Palmas meal.
