I also did not want to eat at my hotel and this was close enough to walk over to. The place itself is gorgeous inside and split into two rooms. White table cloths well dressed waiters and lots of them. Extensive menu with pasta, pizza, salads, meat and fish and also their kitchen specials. You are bound to find something here. I settled on a tomato soup and a pizza piccannte. The soup was rich, creamy, simple and delicious. The pizza was to die for. I did not have to add a speck or chili once it arrived at my table. It was spicy, delicious and the crust was yummy. I loved it and one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Service is super friendly and the owner was also very engaging. The waiters were a nice bunch of people. Ok whilst the meal was expensive, it is to be expected. I would come here in a heartbeat. It's good food and great service.

The moment I see ribs on a menu I ignore the rest and just order it ha ha ha The ribs came out on a huge hot slate. The flavour was good and the meat super tender. The onion rings were perfect and home made. I just wish they had some hot sauce to go with the ribs :-) their dessert card is huge with tons of options. From a culinary point of view in the middle of nowhere. Of course, the parking lot was also jam-packed but right at the entrance, they had an abandoned table for two. They were serving the main course for about half a dozen large parties at once who all ordered meat on a hot stone. It seems to be the specialty of the house and since there was no more Cordon-blue available I went for the same option. The meat was horse-filet and some side dishes like croquettes and seasonal vegetable and some sauces. It was delicious but I had to grill it my self on that hot stone first. The grease was sprouting all over the place so I was glad the waitress has wrapped a large napkin around my neck first. I didn't help to keep my close from smelling like a frying pan but I guess that's the deal eating this kind of dish. The staff was very friendly and super fast, always focusing on the needs of the guests. Would I go back there? Well, I wouldn't plan an extra trip just to be back like at other places, but definitely go again if I'm in the area cuz there's probably nowhere else to go (accroding to Yelp it is).
